From the comfort of an air-conditioned coach, drive past the White House, the many Smithsonian museums, the National Mall and much more. Enjoy an entertaining and educational narrative from the expert local guide, with frequent photo-op stops of the historic and iconic landmark locations.

This tour also features a scenic, seasonal boat cruise along the Potomac River (March 15 to October 16). We'll spend some time at beautiful Georgetown Waterfront Park for a lunch break, and after this, we re-board the bus to visit the Iwo Jima Memorial - with spectacular views of Arlington Cemetery and the Washington, D.C. landscape.

The glass top bus tour was actually an open air van. Because the weather was warm the roof was retracted. Wear sunscreen! No a/c but the breeze while driving was nice. The group size was very small compared to the regular bus tours. The tour guide told us information while driving, then let us off to explore on our own for a very short time at each stop. One time we had to run. She only got out at one stop to explain as we walked around, unlike what the website describes. Overall would recommend.

Dion, our tour guide was the best tour guide of Washington DC I have ever had. I have been on two other tours and this was beyond my expectation. I picked it because it seemed a smaller group, nice bus and included the boat trip and I was more than impressed by all we saw during the tour. Again, Dion is what made the tour exceptional. He filled in so many "blanks" in my knowledge of the monuments we saw that had not been covered. I couldn't thank him enough (but I did tip accordingly as I hoped everyone else on the bus did). Everyone on the bus enjoyed the day with Dion. Thank you and I will tour again.
