Great experience. Although we did not see any whales, this company offers as many free excursions as it takes to see whales. We saw porpoises, sea lions, bald eagles, and the beautiful harbor area.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 Star is not because of the excursion itself but the weather. It rained and the suits are NOT waterproof, I was soaked to my jeans, etc. We only caught glimpses of several whales and wished we would have seen more.

Great day on the water!

Very well run operation from start to finish. Beautiful day on the water in a zodiac boat from which we saw lots of orcas! Despite looking funny, the suits and hats/gloves kept us quite warm. The guide was great, learned lots about the orcas. Overall a fun expeience, only wish we could have gotten a little closer to the whales, but I think the distance kept is for the safety of the whales.

Our guide , Mark, really knew his stuff. He took us to an area he had been researching and we saw three Orcas! We got some great pics of a mother, baby and older male. We then rode out to Racer? island where we saw sea lions and eagles. We, unfortunately, did not see a humpback, it was not meant to be. Yes, it was raining, cold and the water was choppy. What do you expect? We were in the bay, hunting whales, remembering that they are wild creatures and we are blessed to see them. We had full suits, hats and gloves that were provided and sized for us. These protected us from the elements and we were able to fully enjoy the roller-coaster feeling boat ride. It was a major rush to bounce on the water while trying to follow the family. The staff was great and the tour was a must do. I am glad we were in a smaller boat rather than a big one. We could follow more quickly and it was quite thrilling when the whales swam right toward us! Thanks for a great time! Thanks for the cocoa after as well!

Great experience, highly recommend it while in Victoria, definitely the highlight of our trip, we got to see a humpback whale the only down size is we were a bit sore the next day but it was well worth the few aches and pains! we did sit in the front row of the boat which is the most bumpy but the ocean conditions were a bit rougher than normal the day we went, regardless we would do it again!
