Enjoyable and educational painting experience

Nicola is a great artist and a very kind and patient teacher. We found a quiet spot outside with few people and had a lovely couple of hours painting. Nicola helped with the basic drawing and demonstrated how to build up the colour washes to create the picture, and gave plenty of individual instruction. The finished piece is now on my wall at home (although the ones of his that I bought look much better next to it!).

The lesson started on time and the teacher made me feel at ease. He found a perfect location not far from the meeting point and we started on time. As a beginner he was very helpful pointing out areas I need to work on etc etc etc . Overall I really enjoyed the lesson and leaving with a better understand of water colours. I would really recommended it.
