Our guide Ana was great! Very personable and knowledgeable. Ana navigated us through various areas explaining the historical significance of each all while getting to sample the local grub along the way. The tour moved at a perfect pace, we never felt rushed and had a great time.

Fantastic tour with Ana. It included a lot of the history of the area and she explained the meaning behind the names and shops as well. Food was also great and several options at each stop.

The tour that did not happen

We missed this tour because we could not find the pickup location which was the San Salvador church. No one in Venice, including the tourist bureau knew this location and we could not find it on the street map. It was very frustrating and we walked for 1 1/2 hours searching. We got an email from the guide, and when i told him about the situation, I got NO RESPONSE!!!!! THis is the 3 time I have used VIATOR- and only one tour was good. I feel Viator should refund my money. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!

My friend and I absolutely loved this tour! We traveled around the whole of Europe and this was definitely top 5. This was a great first day tour to do as we got to explore the main parts of Venice and try the local food. Our tour guide was amazing, she was fun, had lots of stories and advice (sorry I can't remember her name). I would recommend this tour if you are a foodie!

Our tour was on Tuesday 30th July. Ana or guide was most pleasant and full of interesting facts about Venice. She took us to places we would never had tried for food and was educated in Venetian food. Most of it was very nice and even though I don't eat fishy food Ana very kindly offered me an alternative. The tour was about the right length and not too long (2.5hrs) it was just street food so don't expect restaurant food.We both enjoyed it. Thans Ana.

Alice was our tour guide. She was very personable and knowledgeable about Venice. She shared about the food we were going to eat and she also stopped to talk about the history and importance of the buildings and sights we passed. Some of the foods we sampled were a plate of meat and cheese, polenta with seafood, cicchetti, and gelato. For the price of this tour, the delicious food and historical insight makes it a great value. We highly recommend this tour!
