Private Arrival Transfer from Venice VCE Airport to Venice City

Cristiano picked us up from the airport after a delayed flight from London to Venice arriving at 12:15am. He was a delightful young man, very punctual, helpful and professional who provided us excellent service.

Our flight was delayed and, although the paperwork we received said they would check the flight and adjust pick up accordingly, apparently they will only adjust within a specific timeframe. When we arrived at the airport and there was nobody there, I called Viator, was put on hold for 20 minutes and then told that they would send out an email with my information. Needless to say, that didn't work for our family of four. We ended up having to pay another company to take us to our hotel, and so far Viator has refused to refund our money. Do NOT pay for this. If you arrive in Venice, there are plenty of taxis and private services waiting to help you, for the same cost as this. It was a horrible experience and a very frustrating way to begin our family vacation in Europe. Very disappointed.

The only good thing I can say about this service was that the driver was at the airport terminal on-time and with a sign clearly stating our name. Other than that, it was a complete waste of money! The driver said virtually nothing to us, including stating his name. He dropped us off at a crowded parking lot without ANY instructions about where to go to get a water taxi to our hotel. We had to rely on strangers to tell us where to go and then had to hike with our suitcases to get the water taxi. So not only did we spend a lot on this car service, but had to figure out where to go to get a water taxi that was also a lot of money. So not worth it. Save yourself money and take a water taxi straight from the airport!
