Returns to original departure point
Your half-day sightseeing excursion begins with morning pickup at your central Vancouver hotel or Canada Place Cruise Terminal. Climb aboard the coach for a guided trip through this historic seaport city.

From your comfortable vantage point, see the flying white sails of Canada Place and the Olympic Cauldron, then tour the remarkable 1,000-acre (405-hectare) Stanley Park, a wonderland of 500,000 cedar, fir, and hemlock trees. Enjoy splendid vistas of the North Shore Mountains and Burrard Inlet, and marvel at First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Continue to Prospect Point, atmospheric Gastown, and Chinatown – boasting the largest Chinese population outside of China!

View some of the city’s best shopping and eating as you cruise down Robson Street, where bustling eateries mingle with upscale retailers and independent boutiques. Then visit Granville Island's colorful Public Market, selling coffee and a range of delectable foods – a great place to buy lunch!

Conclude your day with a trip to the Vancouver Lookout atop Harbour Center. Take the high-speed elevator straight to the observation deck – more than 550 feet (169 meters) up! – and quietly soak up the grandeur of the city, the mountains and the majestic Pacific Ocean.

Your tour ends with a drop-off at your departure point in the afternoon.

Good overall city overview

Saw some nice areas and got a good overall feel of Vancouver. Tour was a little longer than listed, so plan accordingly as it is based on what you do and now how long it takes to get everyone in the vehicle. Our guide was great and I was very pleased with all we were able to see and do. We even got a little time to shop for souvenirs.

Our party of 3 thoroghly enjoyed this tour. Guide was personable, funny and very knowledgeable of the area. There were stops at Stanley Park, the Bridge and the Vancouver Lookout tower which was amazing. Great value and timed just right at 4 hours.

I planned it so I would have this overview of a place I've never been at the beginning of my trip, and I am very wise! This was a great way to get the local backstory and figure out where I wanted to spend more leisurely time... which was pretty much everywhere Nadim showed us. He was a wonderful guide, very articulate and informative and exTREMEly helpful (on a personal note). The only thing I find... un-thought-of...in the Viator scheme of things is that the tours make us choose between seeing the sites at hand (which is why we paid the bucks) in a very limited time OR eat... you don't actually make time for us to do both in a meaningful way, or at all, sometimes. That's not this tour's issue... that's a Viator issue.

Our four-hour trip to the wonderful and amazing places in Vancouver became more exciting and informative through our knowledgeable Tour Guide Larry. His narration of the historical accounts and beginnings of the places we went to made the trip more interesting.

Nice way to end our cruise in Vancouver. Went to the Vancouver Lookout at the Top of Vancouver. Nice view of the whole city. Went through Stanley Park and had lunch at Granville Island. Granville was a great place to eat and shop. Wish we had more time than the 1 1/2 hours. Our tour driver Ken was nice and knowledgeable. Great service and he took us right to our hotel after the tour was done. Thanks again.

We did a day trip to Vancouver while staying in Victoria. This was a perfect choice. We have never been to Canada let alone Vancouver. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, was raised in Vancouver so able to offer personal insights which made the tour interesting. The air conditioning on the bus was not working well so that was the only comment on an otherwise great day out. Would highly recommend them!

We were picked up early. We had to wait 40 min. Before tour started. A couple did not understand the instructions as to when to return so the tour was delayed 30 min. Another couple had to be back to the cruise line and that became the driver's main concern . U could not hear the driver. And h
