Great Tour, poor organization.

Great tour, once we got started 1.5 hours late. Henry had a large repertoire of sites, including art and historical and botanical, etc, related well to all of us, and had lots of interesting stories and history to relate. And he is a good driver. Viator did not communicate with him that I have a US number, and my daughter has a Canadian number, so he couldn't reach us until we called him. We weren't given his number until two days before our trip. Then Henry was reluctant to meet us at the hotel we chose and had us drive an extra half-hour through heavy traffic to be closer to where he operates. Our trip was confirmed and cancelled two times prior to this one, as he was double booked.

Hello Jeanie. Thank you for providing your feedback about our rather eventful tour. It was a pleasure to delight you and your family with all the best sights Vancouver has to offer. I'd just like to respond with details regarding the delay and organization so other guests are aware of my commitment to quality and service: The delay was caused by an unscheduled pipeline-protest which caused a road-blockage around my tour vehicles parking lot. Protests like these are very rare and often held at designated parts of the city. I did my best to notify your party but could not contact reach you on the number that was provided. Understandably your cell phone was off to avoid roaming charges. Moving forward I'll make sure my tour goers provide an alternate contact number in case their primary number doesn't work. I'll also remember to ask guests for their phone number if they are calling from a caller-ID blocked line. Lastly, in consideration of the two cancellations (which were made well in advance of the booking date) I've already begun implementing a new booking system that will prevent this from happening again. Thank you for the overall positive feedback, patience and understanding. I hope that with this response I'm able to show others the level of care I had for your experience.

A great photography adventure in Vancouver

Henry arrived promptly to pick us up and spent the full six hours of our time systematically going through a large number of special photography locations in a number of areas of Vancouver. We had given him a list of places we wanted to spend time with and he added a number of places of personal favorites that we only vaguely knew about. The value of having someone who has grown up in Vancouver as a photography guide is invaluable. It took a lot of the guesswork out of the equation and allow us to spend our time focusing on getting the best images for the day. We strongly recommend using Henry as a guide for photography adventure in Vancouver, or for simply getting a well crafted introduction to the city. Time spent with Henry is well spent.

Henry picked us up at our hotel at specified time. As a Vancouver native he showed us exactly the things we wanted to see and a few extra we loved. He provided excellent background info and acted as photographer for couples shots. Thank you Henry
