    Dissapointing , very dissapointing!
    , Jan 2020
The facilities and the employees were all great. what I find unfortunately was the fact that the reason we went there, never really materialized, The Northern lights! we saw very little to nothing. It was a very expensive trip to go snow mobiling and dog sledding. I felt that by reading the advertisiments it seemed like you were going to be seeing the lights as were shown in the photos and so as far as I can see it was false advertisment. we went there because my wife has a terminal illness and one of her wishes was to see the Northern Lights, we spent what little we had to do so and so I find it very dissaponting that she really did not get her wish. and that time might run out for her before we can save enough money to go elsewhere .

Thank you for your review, Enrique. We are glad that you enjoyed our tour and sorry that you didn't get to see the Northern Lights. As the lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee that you will see the Northern Lights on our tours. We have had many travellers in the past who were lucky to see the Northern Lights in the Yukon. As this is a Northern Lights experience, we need to show what the Lights look like if the conditions are favourable when the solar winds strike Earth's magnetosphere. No tour company can guarantee Northern Lights viewings. With this being said, using photos based on past traveller's experiences is not false advertising but instead allows guests to see what the Lights can potentially look like in the Yukon.

Northern Lights Tour 4-Day in Whitehorse from Vancouver
    , Oct 2019
We were very disappointed that the lodge we were based in, the staffs did not give any information about tours and activity for each day and are available that takes people out to see the Northern Lights. We were told to wait at the front of the lodge and wait for Northern Lights to appear. By second night we did ask again of another staff and they said nothing accept talked generally. We waited all night infront of the lodge and waiting for the northern light to appear. Whole Group are very disappointed for 3 nights long wait. The other activities itinerary were limited, activities started at 10.30 am , 4pm are back to hotel and wasted the rest of the afternoon and sat in our room and lodge. When we arrived at the airport to leave Yukon Airport we saw brochures and asked a tour guide who informed us there were tours that could take us to see Northern Light and saw one last night. We believe is a very costly trip for us to take for Northern lights and not see it. We think is important that staffs provide the necessary information when asked to assist and provide the northern light path. Very Disappointed. 21/10/19

Was a great adventure and worth it. Lovely location, accommodation and adventures, snowmobiling, dog sledding and fortunate enough to have a spectacular experience to view the northern lights, what a show we got to witness !!!

Fantastic trip in every way, I'd highly recommend. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, rustic and right on the lake which was frozen in February. Dinner was gourmet quality every night, and filled with great conversation with other guests from all over the world. There's a room full of parkas, gloves, and boots available to borrow so you're never cold. We stayed in the Metal Room which is at the front of the house and faced towards the early Northern Lights - it was a bit small but there are larger rooms available if you need. We felt really well taken care of by everyone. We did the snowmobiling and ice fishing tour, didn't catch any fish but has a great time on the ice. We went for a walk, roasted marshmallows and venison sausages, and zoomed around on the snowmobiles. It was an experience to drill a hole in the ice! We also did the dog sledding tour through a separate company, I'd skip it and go snowmobiling if you're trying to choose.
