Must do experience in Tulum!!

Lily’s cooking class is a must do in Tulum!! Lily is a fantastic host! She is so knowledgeable and welcoming. Everything ran perfectly smooth from the moment they picked us up. She truly made us feel like family. We learned so much about Mexican cooking and we had a great time meeting and interacting with the other guests. Lily even arranged a taxi driver for us the next day to visit Sian Ka’an. Do not miss out in this experience!

Amazing food and even better company! A must do while in town!

Kayla and I are so happy that we chose to do this. We almost didn't because we got caught up in everything that Tulum has to offer in town, but taking the short trip out to enjoy a great night with another couple and the host was so perfect. We spent time talking about Mexican traditions while eating on some homemade deliciousness and having some tasty beverages as well. We are so excited to try these recipes at home and let our son get a taste of this amazing experience. 10 out of 10! We highly recommend taking a breather from Tulum and enjoy some culture and great food and company. Thank you!

PRICELESS FOODIE EXPERIENCE

This was the best part of our trip! Lily and her family were so welcoming. We learned a lot about the culture and history of the food. Lily is a wealth of culinary knowledge! She is happy to pass along all of her abuelas tips and tricks which is something that is priceless. We had a very hands on experience helping with every dish along the way but also had time to relax and take in the experience. We learned how to make homemade tortilla, guacamole, two salsas, al pastor, and quesadillas. Even a home made soup! We also learned how to taste mezcal and enjoyed a homemade drink with steeped hibiscus flowers (which we will be sure to make a home frequently.) This was truly a one of a kind experience that you should not miss! So stop reading my review and go book the experience it for yourself! IF you are still reading :) Since I am writing this during covid I would also note that the experience was very clean and stuck to protocol. We felt very comfortable and safe. Special note: Lily's dog Canello was quite the quesadilla fan himself. He joined us for dinner and added so much to our experience (If you meet him make sure you make him a few extra cheese quesadilla ;)

What a great time! We learned how to cook amazing food literally in her kitchen and ate and drank as much as we possibly could. We got to try several new foods which made the dinner even more special. We learned about Mayan and Mexican cultures and their influences on our meal. Really incredible evening, I highly recommend it!!
