Skip the overpriced tourist eateries and instead follow your guide inside some of Shibuya’s wealth of side-street restaurants favored by Tokyo residents. As you hop between food stops, sample a variety of Japanese delicacies from across the country, such as Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, different kinds of sushi, Wagyu Beef ‘yakitori’ (barbecue) skewers, and even some taiyaki dessert. You even get to wander through the labyrinth of food items for sale at a “depachika” (underground food hall). One included beverage helps you wash it all down.

Finish your food exploration back at your original starting point with a full stomach and a newfound appreciation for Japan’s one-of-a-kind gastronomic culture.

Fantastic Tour led by Asami
Brion
, Feb 2020
Our guide was Asami and she and the tour were fantastic! We found great places that we never would have found on our own and having someone who's bilingual to order for us and translate was a huge help in that we got to experience things we wouldn't have otherwise done. Asami has a binder full of data, information about the food we were trying, and some pages with key words and phrases in Japanese that we all learned while on the tour - I can't recommend her enough.

Great Tour

My colleague and I took this tour as part of a whirlwind 2-day trip to Tokyo. It was a perfect fit as the tour guide was a fountain of knowledge related to Tokyo in addition to the trying out of various foods. I enjoyed all the foods we ate and would definitely suggest this tour for others. It's a good combination of learning the area and tasting foods!

What a great experience of Tokyo food scene

Had a great time touring the food scene in Shibuya with Norma. She was very knowledgable and friendly. Not only is this a food tour, but also a history and information tour of the area. We went to 5 different places and I was stuffed by the end. It's all paid for except for if you want a beer or something at the restaurants (except one, it was included)

I booked this tour for my boyfriend's bday and it was perfect. Ryu was our guide and he was wonderful. Very friendly and funny too! Ryu shared information about the culture and other facts about Japan which added to the whole experience. He took us to places we wouldn't have known and all the food spots were so so good! Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience different high quality foods as well the Shibuya area. Recommend the last time so you can enjoy the night life afterwards. Thank you Ryu!

We had a wonderful tour guide called Michie! She was absolutely brilliant and showed us so many great things about Shibuya. This was more than a food tour, we learned about the area, Japanese culture, the history. Walking the streets of the area, you get so many tips about where to go and what to do. We were given an abundance of food too! All delicious! Highly recommend this tour!
