  • This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
  • Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus and Shinkansen seats or lunch. Also, at some hotels, a facility usage fee will be required. Please pay at the location.
  • For customers that would like a vegetarian meal or Muslim-friendly meal (for Day 1 Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour only), please make a request at the time of booking. (*Muslim-friendly Meals: A menu that does not use pork or alcohol.) Please note that these are not halal certified. Allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available. Vegetarian meals are available for lunch only. The hotel meal may not be available or may be a buffet. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Excluding hotels that do not offer luggage collection, on Day 1, suitcases and other large pieces of luggage will be transported separately the following day by truck from hotels in Tokyo to hotels in Kyoto. For hotels that do not offer luggage collection, it will be sent from the tour departure location. (In such cases, please bring luggage by 8:00 in the morning.) Please note that luggage delivery service on the return trip on Day 4 is limited to hotels and ryokan within Tokyo's 23 wards where customers will be having their accommodation. Luggage cannot be sent to a private residence. Also, the delivery service may not be available for some small hotels or ryokan. Refunds will not be issued even if customers do not use the delivery service. Also, while delivery is scheduled for the same day, it may be next day due to shipping company conditions. As delivery is the following day, please prepare an overnight package for a single night stay. You will be contacted with details by the day prior to departure.
  • It will not be possible to bring large luggage whose total height, width, and length exceeds 160 cm onto Shinkansen. If bringing large luggage, please make use of a delivery service on your own.
  • The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.
  • Transport to Kyoto on Day 2 will be provided from Odawara Station to Kyoto Station via Shin-Yokohama Station. On the trip from Odawara to Shin-Yokohama the tour will use Kodama or Hikari Shinkansen in the non-reserved section, so seating is not guaranteed.

  • If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, or weather conditions, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
  • Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
  • If the Lake Ashi cruise or Komagatake Ropeway cannot be boarded (when not visitable due to suspension of operation, road congestion, or conditions at other sightseeing areas), the tour will be guided to one of the following alternative destinations. (The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.) Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, etc.
  • On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2021 is yet to be determined), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. The tour will proceed on this day as well. Please note that there will be changes to the itinerary order and sightseeing locations, and the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise may be changed to alternative itineraries. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.
  • During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
  • Participants will walk from the parking lot to Todai-ji Temple (about 15 min one-way).
  • At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
  • Nara Nagomikan may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion.
  • Departure will be from the accommodation hotel in Kyoto. For departure times, please refer to the itinerary provided on the day of the tour.
  • The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, year-end/New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
  • The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on January 25 and October 25.
  • Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
  • During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.

Drop-off service is not available for participants who disembark at stations other than Tokyo (Shinagawa/Shin-Yokohama stations). Please be aware that changes to the train ticket use area cannot be made after departure. Please note that the tour conductor will not accompany the tour to hotels.
