Tour guide was punctual but her English wasn’t exactly good given that this was an English speaking tour. The other guide, a Chinese male, seems to be better as he spoke Mandarin, Jap and English. Meeting point was easy to find after getting out of Ueno station BUT we wasted 30-60mins time going to Keio Plaza to pick up a group when Viator said very clearly via emails that there is only ONE meeting location and strictly no pick up at Keio Plaza. View of Mt Fuji was good. But we were led to lunch very early and at a shop that only offers 3-4 options on menu. Would have been better if we could lunch elsewhere. Also, for the Gotemba outlet mall shopping it was 1hr 40mins duration but the tour bus had to park at designated area so 20mins time was wasted having to walk back and forth. We didn’t even bother to shop since the time limit put us off. Journey back to Tokyo city started at 3.40pm and with traffic condition we only reached more than 2hrs later. Wouldn’t recommend joining this tour unless you want the convenience of sitting on a bus and not having to figure out how to get to places.

We have a great time in this one-day Mt. Fuji tour. Its only unfortunate that for the second time we only reach base 1 due to the weather condition. Also, the onsen resort was nice but i'm expecting a really natural spring onsen experience.

This was a great tour. A long day but worth it. Due to weather on the day of the the tour we could not access the road up the mountain until the afternoon. The guide made up for the earlier missed opportunity. Our guide was excellent!! Very knowledgeable and encaging. I definitely recommend this tour.

Worthwhile experience just reaching the 5th station of Mt. Fuji. No vision of the summit as it was foggy but breathtaking nonetheless

Quick 1-Day Trip for All your Picture Needs!

We got lucky and visited on a beautiful autumn day and was able to visit 5th station and lake kawaguchi and took beautiful pictures. The 1.5-2 hour drive wasn't terrible either. The bus driver was extremely skilled and navigated through the mountain expertly. My boyfriend and I chose opted for the no-lunch package and loved it! We did not want to be tied to a set food menu, so we ended up eating at the onsen. This also gave us more flexibility to enjoy the hot spring longer than the other group members and relax before the large group entered. Onsens are traditionally fully naked, so you must be comfortable with being naked alongside your bus mates. BTW - we both have small tattoos and didn't have an issue with entering the hot springs. I was able to cover my tattoo with my hair. One thing I wish I knew ahead of time is that there are restaurants available at the Outlet. Since shopping isn't a priority for my boyfriend and I, I wish I enjoyed the onsen for a full 2 hours and ate at a restaurants at the outlet. Harry was our tour guide and was great. Although difficult to understand through his accent at times, he was very accommodating and consistently made sure we were comfortable.

Was a great day away from Tokyo, bus driver excellent, tour guide was very nice. Hot spring baths and lunch was a nice break. The shopping was a nice stop as well as Tokyo prices were a little high.

We have been to Tokyo many times but it was our first time to go to Mt. Fuji, Out tour guide JOE was really nice and he was also funny. He even taught us some words and phrases in Japanese which was helpful. We did not get to see Mt. Fuji that day because it was cloudy, But its ok, my husband had a great time at the Onsen Spa and lunch was also good. Shopping at the Gotemba outlet was also fun.

This tour was more than I expected. The view of Mount Fuji on a beautiful clear day was incredible. The lunch at the onsen was delicious. It consisted of chicken and vegetables, rice, pickled vegetables and a number of other things. The onsen itself was beautiful. Many different kinds of baths, both inside and outside. Very clean. We had plenty of time to relax. The outlet mall was great for shoppers, but I didn't shop much, just walked around and people watched. I would definitely recommend this tour!
