Lovely glimpse of Japanese culture

I really enjoyed my experience learning about the tea ceremony and its tie to zen meditation. It was a very relaxed experience even though the ceremony can be quite formal. The sweet making was enjoyable as well. You won’t actually make the dough but will color and design it. The women who work there were very welcoming.

My favorite part was the tea Ceremony. I was fascinated with the history and etiquette involved in the Celebration of a traditional Tea Ceremony, our host was amazing!
