This is an excellent tour to get to know downtown Tirana and the local cuisines. Xhulio is a great guide, very knowledgeable, and you can tell he loves what he does. I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything due to my dietary restrictions, which was fantastic. I did two tours with Go as Local, and thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

The food is delicious and plentiful. Our guide chose great local restaurants which gave the experience a more authentic feel. The walking tour was very interesting since he was so knowledgeable and passionate about Albania. Highly recommended.

My city and food tour was very good. Andi, my guide knows the city of Tirana very well. He showed me everything I need to see. We stopped by a few times for snacks and for lunch. The Albanian cuisine is very flavorful. I enjoyed every minute of the tour.

The tour was amazing. Not only had we the opportunity to taste a lot of varieties of local food, but also learned more about Tirana's and Albania's history with Andi. Besides all that, we also had the opportunity to cook traditional foods. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about Albania, its history and what it has to offer regarding food (which is great).
