Meet your guide at your Tel-Aviv hotel, and travel into the Judean Desert, passing the Good Samaritan Inn along the way, and pausing to take in the stunning, arid landscape. Arrive in the historic city of Jericho, where Joshua and the Israelite army lay siege to the city with the Ark of the Covenant. Enter the Tel e Sultan, a UNESCO site that’s the oldest town in the world, built far below sea level by a perennial spring. Visit the sycamore fig tree that Zacchaeus climbed to see Jesus above the crowds, then hear the story of the Mount of Temptation, the legendary site where the devil tempted Jesus after his 40-day fast in the desert.

Continue to Bethlehem to follow the story of Christ’s birth in the 4th-century Church of the Nativity and Manger Square, and learn about the city’s rich religious history. Get a shepherd’s-eye view of the city as you pass through the fields around Bethlehem, and finish your day with return transfer to your Tel-Avid hotel.

The tour was as described and the only issue I had was switching busses so many times which was mentioned in other reviews. We drove a few places and then switched into small cabs to go into town on the West Bank. We were told that this was because of insurance, but I saw a bus from the other company we had used the previous two days at the site so they found a way around it. I’m not sure if this company just didn’t pay extra for the insurance. I had to ask a few times for clarification about the switching and the next steps because I was a little confused. Other than that the tour was as described and the company had great communication. If you don’t mind switching busses a lot I would recommend, we had a small group of 5 and that was very nice.

This is not a tour. It is someone arranging rides poorly. Picked up at my hotel by an angry cab driver because I did not go outside. I did not even know a cab was coming. Dropped off at another hotel and greeted by no one. Picked up by a van. Taken to Jerusalem and handed off to another van. Taken to the occupied territories and handed off to another van. Nice tour of Bethlehem. Drooped off at a gift shop, without a guide and told to wait for another van. Driven to Jericho, nice tour of Jericho. Driven back near Jerusalem and dropped off on the roadside, unattended and then a few minutes later a van showed up to take us to Tel Aviv. This and all the other drivers never checked us in, knew our names, etc. The last van did not know where I was to be taken. Dropped me off at a hotel in Tel Aviv and ordered a cab for me. If I accounted for the 10 different vehicles then I have done my job.

The tour was AWESOME. My husband and I toured Bethlehem and Jericho on December 2, 2017. The tour was full of exciting, memorable and historical sites. On this full day of touring we visited Bethlehem and Jericho, the oldest city in the world, we saw the oldest Sycamore tree, which Zacheus climbed in order to spot Jesus. We also rode the cable car passage up the Mount of Temptation where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the mountain. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who have plans to visit Israel.

3.5 stars. Had to wait too long on the pick up and transfer service. Tour didn't seem as organised as the others. Costs of the souvenirs on the Bethlehem tour were at a much higher price than what obtained For the same product on the Jerusalem side - although we were advised of the contrary.

An amazing tour, this experience...

An amazing tour, this experience allowed us to see and experience both biblically significant places with such ease. I don't know that we would've been able to visit these places on our own particularly because of the nuances of traveling inside the Palestinian controlled West Bank. Visiting Christ's birthplace was an experience we will never forget. Our guide was very informative and patient with our questions. Taking the cable car up the Mount of Temptation for lunch afforded us with sweeping views not only of Jericho but the Dead Sea as well. The only aspect that somewhat put a damper on an otherwise humbling experience of being at the very place where Christ was born 2000 years ago was the circus-like atmosphere. There was no crowd control whatsoever in a place mobbed by tourists. Hence, people were just jockeying for position and pushing and shoving. While that was beyond this tour operator's control, it made the experience a tad unpleasant it magnified humankind's worst behavior in a place where we were supposed to revere Christ. Otherwise, this tour is highly recommended and worth it!

Fabulous tour. Staff/tour guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Tour co was on time and bus exchanges going into the Palestinian territories were seamless. Felt comfortable all the time. Bethlehem was so interesting and Jericho was amazing. Great lunch on Mt. Temptation and tram ride up the mountain were worth the added cost. Really enjoyed the day.
