We booked with Traffic Travel at the last minute for this trip and requested a hotel booking at Rooms Hotel - Kazbegi. From the very beginning Mr.Tsotne and our guide Mr. Kakha were very professional and delivered very much to our expectations throughout this exciting journey. We had a chance to see breathtaking views while ascending and descending Kazbegi. Mr. Tsotne ensured that we got a room with a fantastic view at a very special price which we really treasured. Also a special mention to Mr. Kakha who is a fantastic guide that explained history, culture, cuisine and tips throughout our journey and being patient with us at every step of the way. His recommendations on wine and cuisine was highly appreciable and we would definitely recommend this team to anyone visiting Georgia. Thanks guys for the amazing trip.

We opted to stay overnight in Kazbegi in order to have a more relaxing trip and we were not disappointed. Our guide, Vaska, was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. He suggested we go straight to Kazbegi on Day 1 and visit the different monuments on Day 2 and that was a brilliant idea as we could spend almost 24 hours in the hotel to admire the dramatic view and to use the hotel facilities. Vaska stayed with us for a simple, but delicious Georgian lunch, and we learnt a lot about the politics, music and history of the country during our conversation. We also appreciate Vaska knowing when he was needed and when we would like to be left alone. He was never more than a text message away. On Day 2, we started heading back to Tbilisi around midday and visited the various places as mentioned in the itinerary, except Gergeti Trinity Church, due to the unfavourable road conditions. We understand safety should always come first and this gives us the excuse to visit Georgia again. In the other sight-seeing spots, Vaska was always able to answer our questions. We particularly enjoyed the time spent in Mtskheta and the Ananuri fortress. The latter was especially interesting because of the wall climbing involved. :-. All in all, this was a thoroughly enjoyable 2-day trip, thanks to the flexibility that Vaska gave us, and the breath-taking scenery along the way. Highly recommended!
