Private Cooking Class with Sicilian Chef + 4-Course Dinner in Sicilian Family

We had a truly excellent experience with Chef Tino and his wonderful family. He and his family welcomed us into their home and kitchen and were so gracious and hospitable. Tino walked us from the preparations for an authentic four course Sicilian dinner. We had a lot of fun and learned many things. And to top it all off, after all of the food preparation and cooking, we were able to all sit together and have a superb and really delicious dinner. The food was excellent yet even better, was the company. Tino and his fiance, Alyona, mother, Nicolette, father Luciano, were so warm and engaging, fun and funny, and n overall joy to share time with. we highly recommend this experience.

It was fun and the food was good. The drive Marco gave a good overview of Taormina and the sights that we passed and he even was the interpreter. Before the class, we were told that the regular Sicilian chef was not available and we said yes to a substitute who also was good but was limited in English so Marco interpreted. Also it would be nice to have recipes after the class

This is not the typical cooking class tour. We have been on others. This one takes place at a locals restaurant. You won't see any tourists. We were taken into the restaurant and immediately served wine. Imagine that! From there we were taken right into the kitchen where the chef immediately put us to work. It was very fast paced and hot since the grills were on, but that's what made it fun. We were served wine the entire time. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. After that we were seated and served the food we had just made. You'll be served more food and wine than you can consume. Our tour guide Marcos was so friendly and informative and often served as our interpreter. Marcos is an excellent guide. We considered him a friend, not just a tour guide.
