Juan was a fantastic Tour Guide. The active volcano at Masaya was quite an experience but not to be out done by the boat ride on Lake Nicaragua.
Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time allotted for shopping. Maybe because the scheduled pickup service leaving Costa Rica was about 45 minutes late.
Nevertheless, just a memorable full day trip and a worthwhile experience. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an amazing day!! Such a great opportunity to explore Nicaragua while in Costa Rica! The agenda is thoughtful and the guide/driver have so much passion for sharing their knowledge and country with you. The logistics were impressive given the amount of stops - it was executed flawlessly. The meals were interlaced into stopping at a new location and we’re delicious. In Granada we had the option to do a carriage ride around the town which wasn’t part of the tour - it was just $10 more and totally worth it. You cover so much ground and it’s very hot this time of year. Overall I’m so happy with this adventure, the knowledge shared with us, the tours variety and flawless logistics!!

I was a great tour. But it was way too long . We left at 5am and didn’t return until 9:30 pm. The market stops were cool but the locals rush up to you soon ass u get out the vehicle. N some will pretend they don’t have change for US dollar. Over okay but will not do it again.

This tour was amazing! Yes, it is a very long day (especially if you are picked up first, and then you'll be dropped off last), but so worth it to experience Nicaragua for the day while vacationing in Costa Rica. The guides, drivers and office staff were all amazing. The made it a event full day so you truly get a sense of much that Nicaragua has to offer.

Overall this was a great tour! Our tour guide was amazing! However I cannot give it 5 stars because the timing was completely off as far as the pick up and drop off. We got back to our hotel after this tour past 10pm at night. At this point all of the restaurants were closed and there was nothing to eat. Lunch was at about 3pm and they are smaller portioned meals so that’s all we had aside from breakfast in the AM. I would def recommended adding dinner if a time to be back at the hotel is not guaranteed. We were starving by the next morning for breakfast. We also had to cross the border from Nicaragua back to Costa Rica alone at night. Not much of a distance but the group had questions and there was no one around that spoke English. Overall great tour.. just pack a lot of snacks!

This tour was a rollercoaster. Very thrilling for many reasons. The PCR test is a huge obstacle to going on this tour and I understand why but this company should communicate with their guests better because they WILL not be giving you your money back. The tour was robust, worth every penny paid. They took us around to alot of vendors and while it was fun I was overwhelmed by the expectation that I would tip at each and every stop.
