Bike tour

Taking a bike tour meant we got to see more than we would have done on a walking tour of the old town , taking us to the stadium and palace. However once we got into the old town the guide was not as informative which was a little disappointing.

This was a great way to see Tallinn and hear about current life and some recent history. Our guide was informative and answered any questions our small group of about 10 had.

We had a wonderful day in Tallinn Estonia , our guide for our bike ride was Monica she was full of information about her town and we would recommend this tour back home to friends and family in Australia, she was friendly and helpful, I hope to be back to Estonia one day as we didn’t have any idea what to expect but was quite surprised and happy we did go there as it was a very beautiful place to visit

The bike tour starts right where the boat docked. The bikes are under a tent at the edge of the port area. As it turned out it was just my husband and me and our tour guide. We cycled all over Tallinn and really loved the beautiful city and great shopping. Highly recommend!

Great way to see the City.

The bikes and tour were a great way to see Tallin. They are located directly at the port which is easy but it gets confusing because they also rent bikes. The tour was large and getting through traffic was a bit difficult - the drivers are more aggressive than expected. We did cover a lot of areas and it was much better than a bus as we had perfect blue skies. The guide was very informative and provided good insight on the people and periods of occupation. They also allowed us to leave the bikes at the shop in the city center saving us the time to ride back to port and then back to the city again - definitely worth the 3 Euro’s each for this service. The walk back to the pier was about 15 minutes.

Seeing Tallin on Bike

This was my children's favorite Excursion for our trip to the Baltic because it provided activity in addition to seeing the historic sites. The trees and flowers were In Bloom and gave off a wonderful fragrance. You need to be hardy enough to traverse the cobblestones and uneven gradations but I would just walk my bike when tired. Also, I just opted for a smaller bike so I could have better control. I think you'll enjoy this leisurely bike ride through Tallin.

This is the best way to see so much of Tallinn....very easy to get around particularly to places outside of the old city.....easy riding with a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. We were able to start our journey at the wharf where our ship docked, and leave the bikes in the old town to complete our adventure on foot ending with an easy walk back to the ship. It helped that it was a beautiful day, and that we had fellow riders unknown to us, who were great company to be with.....that's the luck of the draw

Perfect excursion for seeing the city sights, learning a bit of the history and burning off some unwanted cruise weight. Our tour guide was cheerful, attentive and seemed to know just the right amount of information to share with us. If you are thinking of bringing knitted or felted goods home, this stop is by far the cheapest! Do not wait for other Baltic cities. Our tour guide ensured that we had enough time to shop. Highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent trip. Our tour guide Tim was very knowledgeable. We saw both the old and the new. A highlight was the ability to leave our bikes in old Tallinn for a small fee of 3 euros each and have lunch and then it was only about a 15 minute walk back to the port. I would definitely recommend this tour as it gives you the ability to see a lot more of the city than you would see on foot.

The bike tour was a lot of fun. We got to see a lot of Tallinn that we probably would not have seen had we not participated in the bike tour. Maria was a very easy going tour guide and allowed us time to take pictures along the route.

Great bike ride: Great bikes, good sites to see, gorgeous non-city areas to ride thru, awesome pace to accomodate everyone. The leader knew his history. I would definitely recommend this tour. The only thing I'd change is the start time to earlier in the morning.

I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable in all areas of Estonia. It was easy access at the port for the bikes. They ensured you were comfortable before you left the area. It was only 2 hours in length and it certainly could have been much longer. Riding within the old town was a little challenging with so many people walking around.

Best way to see the area! It's a little more than a beginner route but most people should be able to handle it. The guide knew his history and was optimistic about the future growth of his nation. The old town area was the best part to hang around in afterwards. Over all great tour.

The 3 hour bike trip was great! We were a small group of 7, and the ride was at a comfortable pace. Tallinn is small enough that we could see a lot in three hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We were given helmets, water, and great bikes. The bike meeting point was right at the pier and we returned to the same spot. Our guide walked us through the old town since I would have had trouble riding on cobblestone very accommodating. We also took a stop at the Japanese gardens when someone in the group requested it. There was still plenty of time to go back to the old town on foot before we had to leave on the ship.

For those people taking a cruise, this bike tour is ideal, just walk off your ship and you can easily spot the Bike Tour company with the other Port shops. The team ensures you each bike is right for you and then you are off for a ride. The track takes you through beautiful parkland, across the seaside and into town. My son had a fall from the bike and the team were great in coming to his aide and organised for someone to take he and I back to the ship they were absolutely fantastic in their attitude. The commentary on the tour is very informative and the scenery spectacular I kept wanting to take pictures of our adventures. The route is quite flat and the pace is moderate. Definitely recommend this tour for families.
