Furling the sail was fun.

The weather was inclement but the staff on board went the extra mile to ensure we were enjoying out time on the harbour. James was particularly entertaining and Howards knowledge of the harbour and surrounds was an added bonus

Great night on the harbour. We are locals but it was nice to see the magic of Sydney Harbour as if we were tourists. The ship was clean. Well serviced and staff were very thoughtful, professional and polite. Well done.

The ship was beautiful and it was lovey to sail around Darling Harbor. Jo, the historian on board was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The food was just average, but it was much cheaper that other dinner cruises on the harbor with Viator. We enjoyed it

Authenticate Tall Ship Experience
sailfan55
, Dec 2019
My wife and I being sailing enthusiasts for many years, it was a treat to experience our first authenticate sailing experience on a working tall ship. Upwind left 'the rocks' under power off the quay across from Sidney Opera house east past Fort Denison towards shark island before turning about. We assisted hoisting the sales and enjoyed a simple dinner in the crew shack. We enjoyed the views of Sidney under a setting sun, passing under Sidney Harbor Bridge before turning back for the quay.

Terrific Activity - Very Authentic
CTrax

This trip definitely exceeded expectations. I was a little worried that it might be a bit 'fake', but this ship is the real deal - built in the early 1900s to break ice in the North Sea. Several of the guests got to help with the sails - I got to furl the Top Gallant - what a kick! I'd especially recommend this cruise for anyone who has done some sailing on modern boats. The non-sailors seemed to be enjoying themselves, as well. There are ample opportunities to get selfies with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background.

Absolutely Amazing!

This was an incredible experience and an absolute must for anyone visiting Sydney. Our guide’s knowledge of Sydney was second to none (he even filled a couple of gaps from other tours we had already taken) and the passion and skill of the crew were obvious. The food was delicious. Also, a special shoutout to Freddy, our world-class bartender! Thank you Andy, Andrew, Freddy, and the rest of the crew for this amazing experience!

We had a lovely clear night with no rain and a lovely moon. You need to be good on your feet to get on board...a large size woman backed out of the excursion when she saw how tricky it was to get on board. Lots of history of the harbour was shared...nice touch. Those that did the mast climb enjoyed...if you are up to it this would be a buzz! The food was very average, dont expect too much or go with an empty tum! Going under the bridge was awesome.

We had a blast with out family of 4. Perfect "adventure" for our 3 and 6 year old boys, both of whom got to stear the ship and Dad climbed the mast to the crow's nest. Food was good, and the crew was friendly and informative, especially the captain. Highly recommend!
