Charming place

Small but absolutely magnificent garden in the heart of Sydney City. Its best to visit as soon as it opens (and especially weekdays) because the garden is much better enjoyed when there's fewer people inside. There's plenty of fauna too: lots of koi fish, water dragons, baby ducks and turtles. The price is generous as I'm sure they could have made it dearer to get more money out of it..

I found some places need to be repaired. Such as the word missing in one of the building. And also the astrology on the ground is fading.

Beautiful and tranquil

I visited the Chinese Garden with my 3 year old and she loved it. We arrived just in time for the fish feeding at 11:30 where there was a nice man who gave fish food refills to children who asked. The fish food also attracted the lizards, which my daughter found exciting, feeding them as well as the fish. The rest of our time there was spent exploring the garden. It is a beautiful place to sit and relax alone or with friends. It provides plenty of shaded areas to sit down and enjoy the view of the waterfalls, Chinese structures, and greenery. It's also a wonderful place for children to explore with its rocky steps to the top of the waterfall, winding paths, exotic plants, lots of Koi fish, lizards and a couple of turtles too!
