Wonderful scenery

A must see when you are in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, but don´t book it via Viator, because you pay the full amount and when you arrive, you have to pay for Scenic World extra. All other providers charging the same amout, but including the entrance fee, so it will be 88 AUS less then we paid. Even our friends who recommend Viator paid the same amount but including Scenic World. When I complained, I got no answer.

Enjoyed the tour and the koalas

The first stop at the Garden City of Leura was wonderful. Great scone with excellent coffee. The Blue Mountains were amazing and I especially enjoyed walking on the well kept pathways in the forest. The featherstone wildlife park has a concentration of many of Australia’s wildlife. I loved the opportunity to hold a koala while having my picture taken. The return by boat was enjoyable, especially the arrival in the Sydney Harbour.

Fun even in the rain.

Peter our tour guide was wonderful:funny, helpful, and knowledgeable. The weather did not cooperate so there were no views or hiking down at the bottom which was a bummer, but the rides were still fun. The wildlife park was a lot of fun. The only thing I would change is if the weather had been nice and we were able to walk around at the bottom-2 hours would not have been enough especially if you wanted lunch. I would cut out the stop at the little town. Not much there and not necessary since the park is only 15 minutes past the town.

Excellent service and members

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience. 1. The driver was friendly and helpful. 2. The other members in our group were comfortable to be with. 3. Because of heavy haze, we couldn’t see far but Blue Mountains were of a special charm. 4. It was so much fun to be close to kangaroos, koalas, and other wildlife animals, which were gentle and relaxed. 5. The river cruise part was the climax, especially when the ship was advancing us closer and closer to the Sydney Opera House, whose other side was finally able to be seen by my husband and me. To conclude, the whole day was well designed, three excitements in one day! As always, Viator is of excellent service and well-mannered group members.

Superb day trip despite the bushfires

Given the rampant bushfires that are around at the moment, the 3 sisters and scenic world elements of the tour weren’t possible. The alternatives were seamless integrated into our tour and equally impressive. All changes were comprehensively communicated and possible refunds offered if required. The driver Tony was both hilarious and knowledgeable. The highlight was the stop at feather dale wildlife park. The ability to be photographed with a koala or to feed the wallabies and Roos, makes this one of the best parks we’ve ever visited.

Our tour guide is excellent

We liked our tour guide. He did an excellent job. The actual Blue Mountain itself was ok. The small zoo was fun, the little village is a rest stop and there wasn’t much there to see nor did we have the time to see it even if we had time. Weather was nice.

Family Day Trip to the Mountains

My wife and I booked this trip from the advice of others. We absolutely had a great time. Our driver was Tony and he had great stories and was very knowledgeable. We drove for just over an hour and arrived in Luera. We had a coffee and our two boys had hot chocolate. The Luera candy store is loaded with candies from the US and other parts of the world. We then headed for Scenic World. We did not purchase the ride tickets from the Viator but we did end up purchasing them at the site. They are pricey, but well worth the expense. After two hours, we boarded the bus and traveled to Echo Pt. for another view of the Three Sisters. Our final destination was to the Featherdale Wildlife Park and this was our favorite stop. We got to pet wombats and took a picture with a koala. (They charge $25 for the family photo) We ended the evening with a cruise to Circular Quay. The boat offered soft drinks, beer and wine. Great time overall.

Everything was great until we got to...

Everything was great until we got to the boat for the cruise. The boat was seemingly over-full. All seats were taken. The only option was to stand outside. Luckily it was a nice day but if it had been cold or raining, it would have been a disaster.
