Lovely hike with the volunteer guide Sandra :) I highly recommend joining the hike even if there is a little rain to be expected, the views are amazing and the nature blew me away! We walked around 10 km which was a nice distance for a day's hike. Overall a great experience!

Beautiful Hike and Wonderful Guide

This was an amazing full-day hike in the blue mountains! The volunteer guide, Sandra, kept a good pace so everyone could keep up, all while maintaining great conversation and adequate stops to discuss the hike and also the plants and wildlife around it. The guide was also very caring as she reminded everyone of the importance of water and sunblock. The group would stop every now and then at the best places for pictures and we even swam in a beautiful waterfall. A thing that I really liked was that the proceeds go to charities, and emu trekkers is a not for profit organization. I was very well informed the entire time and it was an amazing experience, would definitely recommend this hike and the emu trekkers company.

Unfortunately the Blue Mountains hike itself was cancelled due to the fires and, however we were given plenty of warning and offered a couple of alternative walks. The alternative walk in thr Royal National Park was good , Sandra and the guides were great and with the benefit that the money all goes to good causes!

Thanks so much for your great review. We are glad you enjoyed our Royal National Park hike. We are now offering this as a separate trip for visitors, so I am happy to got the chance to experience it. The bushfires are now fully out, which is great news for all the flora and fauna, and for our local communities too. We hope to take you there next time!

Amazing Hike through the Blue Mountains on a Misty Spring Day.

Nic and Michelle were fantastic, passionate guides who provided a sensational hiking experience for myself and the other hikers (about 10 or so). It was a wet, cool day with a beautiful fog hanging over the mountains. Nic and Michelle gave great insight into our surroundings, from various trees and bushes to Wentworth Falls itself. Certain parts of the hike were a bit challenging (the steep stairs to get to the bottom of the waterfall - and back up!), but the guides provided the exact right amount of support for everyone. The views were simply sublime, and everyone had a great time. Not only was the hike beautiful and fun, Emu Trekkers is an awesome organization with an amazing goal of increasing literacy among Aboriginal children. I think the fact that the guides were volunteers who are genuinely passionate about both hiking and the Emu Trekkers cause made this experience better than it would have been with a different organization. Plus, Nic and Michelle knew exactly where to take us to make this the most unforgettable part of my whole Australia experience. If I ever return to the land down under, I will definitely do another hike with this fantastic organization. Thank you Emu Trekkers!

Nothing bad to say. Fantastic and knowledgeable guides. Perfect itinerary with beautiful vistas and a challenging (but not devastating) amount of hiking. And finally, great value (especially compared to the other tours out there) and the money is going towards a good cause. What more can you ask for.

Yes, we understand from feedback that our hikes are a really fantastic value for a whole day out in the Mountains. We are not looking to raise the price. Thank you for your feedback.
