Great followup tour to more remote part of the islands.

Sandoy is the southernmost island in the Faroe Islands, with about 1200 people. We were picked up promptly at the hotel, there were about 6 people in the bus and we drove to a short ferry ride to Sandoy. This was my second tour with this company, I had the same driver who is born and raise in nearby Vestmanna. There isn't a lot on the island itself, it has 7 villages, but the scenery was fantastic and the stops were well timed and usually in very good locations for pictures. Each stop was given even time to walk around and explore a little, the driver also gave passengers the opportunity to walk at times, because the roads are so narrow, it makes stopping for pictures difficult. The island itself is like a fairy tale, I half expected a hobbit to jump out of one of theold stone houses with grass roofs. The people are incredible friendly and quick to smile. Overall I would do this as a second tour, there is only so much to see but definitely worth the visit. The itinerary is planned well, the driver we had was excellent, and I really like the little sack lunch they pack for you. We also stopped at a really funky cafe in the middle of nowhere. It had excellent food and coffee, in a house with dining room tables and couches set up around tables. In the end I forgot my rain jacket and phone solar charger on the ferry and the driver picked it up and delivered to my hotel later that night. Nice experience and a good way to explore the edge of the Faroe Islands.
