Overview
Learn how to ice skate during this 6-hour excursion in Stockholm. Participate in a quintessential Scandinavian pastime with a group of fellow beginners and a patient guide. Head for one of the many outdoor skating ponds around the Stockholm are and do as the locals do: lace up your skates and give it a go. Stop midway through the day for an alfresco lunch beside an open fire.

Begin your day's skating adventure by meeting your guide at the shop, located in central Stockholm. Come dressed for a day on the ice.
Get fitted for all the necessary equipment. Your guide will decide your destination based on where the best ice is for skating on that day. Travel via public transportation or a private bus.
Upon arrival, get an orientation and a lesson, including skating tips. Your guide is there to ensure everyone's enjoyment and safety. Gather up your courage and glide out onto the pond, river or lake; skating on a natural pond is very different than on a groomed, indoor rink. Challenge yourself to do your best and enjoy the Scandinavian winter scenery.
Stop midday to relax with a traditional outdoor lunch in the glow of an outdoor bonfire. Then, hit the ice for some more exercise working on your skills.
Transfer back to the shop in central Stockholm at the conclusion of your skating excursion.
