The tour was fine. You certainly want to use a tour company to see the sights in and around St Petersburg because the lines for individual travelers are insane. What made this company exceptional was the tour operator herself. Somehow, she managed to get us past the lines even the tour companies had to stand in. And, when she heard my luggage had been utterly lost by the airlines, she called them, managed to track it down and get it delivered to St. Petersburg. She even accompanied me to the airport to facilitate reclaiming it. Truly above and beyond what I could have ever expected.
