The tour guide provided information about 2 main people, the sheriff who ran the jail and 1 inmate that was executed there. We were expecting to learn more about the history of the jail. Many important details about leasing convicts, the huge number of Black inmates executed for minor crimes and the reasons for its closure were not mentioned.
