Under the cloak of darkness, greet your guide outside of the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse and receive a spine-tingling overview of St. Augustine’s rich history: as one of the oldest cities in America, St. Augustine hides numerous skeletons in its proverbial closet.

Your first stop are the old city gates, to listen to tragic and traumatic tales dating as far back as the 17th century. See, too, Tolomato Cemetery, an ancient funeral parlour, and Spanish Street, shrouded in mysteries surrounding St. Augustine’s first settlers.

In the courtyard at St. George Inn, you’ll stand on top of human remains and hear of how the local community endured terrible events in order to thrive in the present day.

Your tour concludes at St. George Inn.

Dion was such a great story teller and he made the whole experience exceptional. He really made the stories relatable to present day and we loved hearing the origins of many of our common day sayings.

Sadly disappointed

The guide had enthusiasm & was theatrical. The tour itself was horrible. We went on a ghost tour in Key West & it was sensational. So we were extra disappointed with this ghost tour.

I really do not know who you are ?? I Have no one with your name on any of my tours?? You sure you were with me?? Ghost Stories, Tall Tales, Legends, & Halloween Folklore?? Whoa it’s quiet the line up. You say nothing of my name?? Do you know your guides name?? There is only Dion here.

Dion was awesome! Love the history he shared and his witt! I was coming in late due to being called into work and he took his time and I was able to catch up only a few min in :-) Being locals now, well definitely go check out his tour again. Thanks Dion!!

Thanks Joesph for your wonderful 5 Star Review. When you said you would be late I did reverse the tour and drag it a bit but hey I liked going backwards. I may keep that route for a while. It was a good crowd too which makes a better tour. I am a ShyNot!! LoL. Thanks again and Y’all come back now if you Dare!!! Dion

Entertaining and Historical
Kevin_L
, Oct 2020
Dion is very entertaining and a great story teller. The tour was an hour and a half and went by very quickly. He keeps his guests engaged and entertained by talking with them between stories and asking questions to the group as he introduces each story. He makes you laugh but the stories are historical and a slight chill / scare factor but nothing terrifying. He keeps it clean and appropriate for all ages (the twelve year old in our group enjoyed the tour as much as the adults).

Kevin I truly thank you for your great 5 Star Review it is awesome!! Ages 2-92 my journey is for. Nothing offensive about the historical facts. Fact is more bizarre than fiction!! I am a ShyNot!!! LoL. Thanks again and Y’all come back now if you Dare!!! Dion

Fun family event

Dion is a fabulous guide. He even followed up A couple hours before to make sure we knew where to meet. We took the tour with our 10 year old daughter and we all loved it. It’s just enough time and the stories are varied and a great little history lesson! We would highly recommend it.
