This food tour was to be the highlight of our 2 days in Singapore. It took me months to decide which tour to book especially given the high cost. Our tour guide Paul was very nice and polite however he was 20 min late, not a good start and was unprepared, basically winging it. While his food choices were good they came with little explanation. The guides ability to impart knowledge of Chinatown, food and Singapore was minimal. He was kind enough to offer for the tour to run longer, however we all just wanted it to end. We have done amazing food tours all over the world and this one was extremely ordinary particularly given the high price charged. I would not recommend it. I did book last minute so maybe with a different guide booked in earlier it would have been quite a different experience. Definitely not the ‘best ever foodie tour’ that my friend who recommded this tout experienced.
