Drive down to the Cameron Trading Post in the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the colorful cliffs of the Painted Desert on the way. Eat lunch in the dining room, overlooking the Little Colorado River gorge, then shop for some souvenirs before heading for the main attraction: the Grand Canyon itself.

Visit both the East Rim and the south Rim for photo ops, learning info about the history geology, flora and fauna about the natural environment. Stop in the Grand Canyon Village, Kolb Studio, and the Grand Canyon Railroad Station.

Amazing day! Saw so many wonderful sights before we even got to the Grand Canyon. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. My wife and I both felt this was one of those “once in a life days”.

Jason was an excellent guide. He was prompt on our pickup, very knowledgeable, and helpful. The van was clean & he had plenty of water for us. The sights were beyond spectacular. We had plenty of time at each stop. Our only negative was Jason’s rush to get back at the end of the day. The roads were wet & at one point he passed 3 cars at one time.

Great tour, great guide

Andrea was our tour guide and she was excellent! The forest fires slightly impacted our tour, but we saw Pueblo ruins, volcanoes, the Cameron trading post, and of course the Grand Canyon. I’ve visited some of these spots before, but it’s so much better with an experienced guide who can really explain the history, geology, etc. It was a beautiful day and my grumpy teenager ended up loving the tour too.

Request Steve!!

10/10 recommend this tour!!!!! We booked this tour having never visited the Grand Canyon and not really knowing what to expect. Steve FAR exceeded any expectations that we had. There was a mix-up with pick-up time which was quickly fixed...and we honestly lucked out because it meant we got to have Steve instead of whoever was our original guide. The whole tour lasted about 9 hours and we made three stops including lunch on the way to the canyon. Steve was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and you can tell he likes what he does. He made sure my group as well as the other group was comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend this tour, and request Steve if you can!! :)

Amazing Tour & Excellent Guide
Kate
, May 2021
This tour was excellent. It has a bit of everything - ruins and lava flows to explore, shopping and lunch on the reservation, multiple stops at Grand Canyon. The van was comfortable with water, A/C and plenty of quick break stops. Our guide, Dave, was amazing and really made this tour an awesome experience. We learned a ton and enjoyed every minute!
