Departure Time

8:00 AM
At 14,410 feet above sea level, beautiful and majestic Mt Rainier is an icon in the Washington landscape—an active volcano and the most glaciated peak in the United States, creating six major rivers.

This day trip nature tour to hike and/or snowshoe around Mt. Rainier National Park begins with a Seattle hotel pickup followed by a scenic drive to the park in a luxury vehicle. Upon arrival, enjoy Seattle coffee and pastries before starting the trek along the Nisqually Vista Trail. Be on the lookout for wildlife wandering around the mountain at any time.

This all-day Mt Rainier tour includes frequent stops to take pictures and enjoy light snacks. A picnic lunch of locally sourced, organic foods (grilled chicken or salmon, sandwich or wrap, with a grain or green salad and water or soda) is also provided midday.

At the end of the day, it’s back down the mountain to take a relaxing return trip to Seattle.

Mt Rainier Tour

Mt Rainier was absolutely amazing! Our guide Jan was wonderful. She gave our group options of longer hikes or shorter ones to see more views. That was great because we had all ages on our tour and not everyone is able to do the same physically. We opted for smaller hikes so we could see more things. It was truly some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen! I am a tree lover and Twin Firs Trail was amazing. Mt Rainier was absolutely one of the most grandest things I've ever seen. Reflection Lake, breathtaking! That was only a few places we saw that day, I could go on and on!

If you’re thinking about doing this tour…DO IT!!! This was one of the best (if not the best) tours I’ve ever been on. The tour was made to fit the varying wishes of everyone in the group and we all left satisfied. We got to see great sights (multiple waterfalls, glaciers, viewpoints, etc) while also learning great information from our tour guide. Added to all this, there were ever present snacks, drinks, breakfast, and a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Mt. Rainier.

A Day Experiencing Mt. Rainer that will always be remembered

Justin, our guide, was super friendly and engaging and knew so much about Mt. Rainer, the geology, history, flora and fauna. We saw everything of the mountain one could ask for in early September. The snacks and lunch provided were fantastic. It was an extremely well-organized and exceptional tour of the mountain. Highly recommended!

Our trip to Mt. Rainier with our guide Ben was fantastic. We were picked up promptly, had a fantastic picnic, and a phenomenal day! Ben was very conscious of what individuals wanted to see & learn. We got to see some beautiful sites & the wildlife was out in full force. There was even a surprise marriage proposal within our group. Highly recommend Ben & Evergreen Escapes.

This was overall an excellent tour. Lindsay has the perfect attitude to lead tours like this! He was very friendly, customized the tour to the desires and abilities of the group, and really made an effort to get to know each one of us in the group. I am a natural resources professional and have many peers who are knowledgeable about ecosystems but lack the communication skills to convey that information in an understandable and enjoyable way for listeners; I therefore very much appreciate the ability of a tour guide like Lindsay, who has the people skills to make a tour such a pleasant experience. Great job!

Justin (not Bob😀) was very entertaining and knowledgeable - even though we spent all day in the clouds with the mountain in hiding he found many scenic places to visits. Short hikes and waterfalls - nice lunch and loads of snacks. Would do this tour again.
