Genteel and Bard's Savannah History Walking Tour

This walking tour provided a great overview of the historic district and Savannah’s history. TC was knowledgeable and enthusiastic!

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about the city. He was entertaining and appealed to all of our senses with sound, visual and smells.

Our guide was entertaining, knowledgeable, fun, patient thorough and had both music and photo renderings of key elements of the tour...the best really! One of the best tours I have ever taken. Loved having the ear pods. Made the whole tour so much better! Would very highly recommend!

We enjoyed this tour and learning about the history of Savannah while walking through a few of the wards. The pace was good for seniors and there were benches to sit on as our guide continued his narration. The earphones were helpful along with the pictures to help describe the events. I highly recommend this tour and our guide.

Don't hesitate, take this tour!! TC was amazing, his passion about Savannah clearly showed and his story telling was great. Even my 17 year old son enjoyed the tour - what else needs to be said! The city is beautiful and full of history and intrigue. My wife and I were on Zillow looking for homes (more like dreaming) as soon as we were finished with tour.

THIS TOUR IS AMAZING! If you are going back and forth about whether to book this tour, hit BOOK and never look back! My experience with city historic tours have usually been a miss but this tour was amazing. Our guide was TC and he is an encyclopedia of knowledge about Savannah! His passion for Savannah and history as a whole is what makes him so impressive. He gives you ear buds so you will always be able to hear him and he plays little snippets of music or quotes from different people throughout the tour. He started his tour out with some smooth jazz music by a local artist. And then he just delves in to the very best of Savannah and how it came to be such an amazing city. He touches on many different aspects of the city and enthusiastically answers all your questions. And he’s willing to take your picture for you! Such a nice guy and he really made the day for us. He also ended the day with some tunes by Johnny Mercer, famous Savannah native! We loved this tour!
