See sun and volcanos

Nice places and good guide. For groups with the sunset option I d suggest to see the coast (little church and the Rocks) going to the volcanos in the morning and to leave people directly in Oia on the way back. The bus transfer from the port to Oia was very long.

The must do trip in Santorini!! Will not be disappointed!! A lot of awesomeness packed into one day.
Deceptive Tourist Trap

An okay experience but not at all what was advertised. We paid for 11 hours, got 6. Very disorganised. Volcano walk - Terrain was a lot rougher than we were informed, therefore hadn't prepared appropriate footwear, other travellers experienced the same. After the long, difficult uphill walk the view wasn't that spectacular and there was no real active crater, it was a hot hole. Volcano springs - a lovely experience, shame we were only there for 20 mins or so. Highlight of the trip. Thirassia - Nice island but not much there, not necessary to spend 2 hours there, would have been better to spend longer at volcanic springs. Oia sunset - Well, what a joke. The oia sunset was taking us on a boat to look at oia, not at sunset, did not get off the boat. Was dropped back at New Santorini port and told the trip had finished. Very puzzling and not what we paid for. Typical tourist trap, feel conned and pretty much a wasted day. A day spent mostly on a boat with little room to do anything. It wasn't that it was underwhelming it just wasn't what was advertised.

Good value for the trip - we were picked up in Oia by the bus terminal. The staff made sure we got on the correct bus and boat. The trip is informative, good selection of translators. Make sure to jump off the boat and swim to the hot springs - lots of fun. Food and drinks are available for purchase while on the boat.

Excellent day out
, Jul 2019
This was a great trip for our family including a 6 and a 9 year old. The volcano trip was great with done epic views and we were entertained the whole day. We got back at 9.30pm but entertained after seeing most of the island.

It was a very long day with pickup at the meeting point around 9 am. We then took a bus ride down to catch the boat. There were 2 boats going out at the same time, one for English and Italian speaking people and one for French and Spanish speaking people. We stopped at the volcano and hiked up to the top then for a swim in the hot springs, then stopped for lunch in Thirassa and finally were dropped off in Oia around 4-4:30. Everything we saw was beautiful and fun and informative. My only complaint is that the boat is very crowded. I would opt next time for a smaller, more private tour. It's a lot more expensive but worth it in my opinion. If you don't mind crowds then it should be just fine. I also wish I knew they were dropping us off in Oia with HOURS to kill until the sunset. I might've chosen differently. It's a very nice and upscale town and we were stuck walking around for over 4 hours in our bathing suits and sweat. I would skip that part and go another night on your own. Also, you can take a donkey up the ~300 steps to get into town or walk. As I am an animal lover and was not fond of how they were treating the donkeys, we opted to walk up. And that is a WORKOUT!! Overall though a very nice day.
Pickup and drop off at the hotel...

Pickup and drop off at the hotel. Well planned excursion. An interesting hike climbing the volcano caldera, with a tour guide detailing everything. Worth it for the views at the top. Also enough time to explore as well. An exciting swim at the hot springs, watch your white parts on the swim wear, will go yellow from the sulphur. We visited Thirassia, and were given various options for the island stop over. Lunch, swim or climb up to the main town. We opted for lunch followed by a swim. Wish the time was longer! We carried on via boat to Oia, and got dropped off. The bus took us back to our hotel. Only downside was the slight disorganisation at the start as every queued in one area waiting for their tickets, and we were kept in the dark. We got moved from one line for a boat to another. Otherwise good time!
Beautiful views

We were hearded like cattle onto and off of the ships without much direction for English speaking tourists after the volcano stop. Otherwise, for the price, the views were beautiful from the volcano but time there wasn’t long enough once you got through the crowds to enjoy the volcano. The swim stops were nice but so crowded.
