Santorini Fishing Tours - Private Santorini Boat tours

Highly recommend doing this tour in Santorini. Makis and Elias went above and beyond to make sure we had a great and relaxing time with wonderful views and informative banter. We each caught some Bonito which Captain Makis then pulled off in a cove so we could swim while he bbq’d it up. The meal was just as amazing as the company. Not a fisherman, no problem, this would be the perfect mix for all. Not a swimmer and want more fishing, done. Makis and Elias will cater to what you want to do.

I would have liked to say that Makis and Elias are very professional, caring and as good hosts as they are excellent crew member. But that would be lying. THEY ARE TRULY AMAZING SOULS. They litterally had the best attention for us, all the trip long. I proposed to my fiancee on their boat and I would recommend that to ANYONE. We strolled around the best places of the Island, sailed around the volcano and even had a stop on the White Island were we did snorkeling. It was truly amazing. They know the best places and we literally saw no one else where we went. We also fished of course. Makis is very skilled and patient. He taught us the way of the fisherman and we got a Barracuda and a white tuna with their fishing ropes. We then grilled the barracuda and made ceviche out of it. While they were preparing this barbecue along with other purely delicious dishes, we enjoyed the a sunbath at the front of the ship. When it comes to food, everything is traditional and local (everything comes from Makis' farm and is made by Makis' wife.) PLUS IT'S FREAKING GOOD :D. (shout out to the fried tomato and meatballs. Yummy.) They play the songs you like, go where you wanna go...During 5 hours you feel like you are the captain aboard :) Apart from that, they are just the typical grec people we love : Open minded, caring as no one else, fun and full of empathy. They made everything going smoothly so that my proposal will remain in our memories for the rest of our life (at least !) It was worth every last dime. And more. Amazing experience highly recommended. I will never forget this day and I know the no one from our group will. Friendly funny made everyone feel welcome and helped Mario our fisherman 10 year have the time of his life. One of the best experiences.

Best tour in Santorini with Captain Mikey- by far! Spent the afternoon fishing, snorkeling, swimming, then watching evening sunset . It end with grilled catch and homemade Greek sides from Captain Mikey’s wife and garden.It was truly a special (and reasonable ) experience !!! Far better than shared sunset tours. Loved Captain Mikey and his 1st mate. He is 5th generation Santorini fisherman! You will be delighted with with private tour!!!!

Makis and Nikolas provided an outstanding tour of the waters of santorini, educating us on the local fish, and formation of the island through volcanos. We could tell they wanted our experience to be perfect for our honeymoon (from USA). They made sure we were able to catch some local grouper and snapper before taking us to the hot springs to swim above the volcano. The tour was a very personalized experience and they even had a wonderful home cooked meal for us when we returned from swimming. 10/10 tour, with great crew. Nikolas also has some great photography skills as an added bonus. We will be sure to be back in the future to meet them again. We give thanks to Makis the Mayor and Nikolas! Jon and Gabby
