Maybe time for a new van…
Tim
, Jul 2021
We took a wine tour yesterday in Santa Barbara, Golden Rooster of SB. While our driver Ari was exceptional, the overall tour was very disappointing. Our “limo” was an ancient ride that could barely fit our group, let alone make it up the hills. We asked for a sprinter van( as was originally represented as our transportation) which took over an hour to pick us up at the 1st stop. The sprinter was in disrepair, a speaker cover w 3” screws fell out and hit on of my guests in the head…..overall the wineries were underwhelming, had to ask for a glass of water to be served w wine, forget a piece of bread or anything beyond. For $320 per person we expected a better experience. This tour is wildly overpriced.

Hi Tim, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback. Seating in limos is designed with the average weight person in mind. If you are getting a vehicle, using the max capacity, and the average weight of each person in the group is twice the weight of the average American, call the company and let them know ahead of time, you will need a larger vehicle. When available, we are more than happy to provide you with a larger vehicle to ensure your group is more comfortable, which is what we did in this case. We had your driver go switch vehicles for you. Each winery tasting last about 1.5 hours, this is why we did not anticipate you would have a problem with the driver being gone for an hour to switch vehicles for you, after all, it was to resolve an issue that was not created by us. We have no record whatsoever of us making a representation of any particular vehicle we would be using for your group. We also couldn't find you requesting a specific vehicle, or a larger vehicle. The vehicle we end up using depends of the size of your party. If you would like a specific vehicle when booking, please reach out to us and we can check on availability, do so via email so that you can reference back if need it. Tim, if you can get me anything from our company that shows you were promised a specific vehicle, and you got something different, please forward that information to me and I can see about a possible refund. I Imagine when one spends the entire day making homophobic, xenophobic, and racist comments, then goes to wineries owned by minorities, the experience will be underwhelming. You sir, should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you had a wonderful weekend Tim
