Best that Viator were to inform us if the streets were to be closed and bus was not to operate

Many streets were closed due to road running race and the bus did not operate until after 1330 making it impossible for us to use the tickets that we pur based through Viator, not a good outcome. Travellers purchasing tickets ahead of time need to be updated on potential changes to operating times.

It's a very good idea to do this on your first day in town, to learn the lay of the land and see the major attractions. They give you headphones for the audio guide in choice of five languages and the narration is good. The bus leaves from in front of the Maria Cristina hotel on the hour. If you go to Bilbao and want the tour bus there, find out at the bus station at what time it stops at Sagrado Corazón I got tired of waiting for it there and walked.

The trip was worth it and the English translation was well done. An issue we had was the WEB site doesn't tell you in advance that they do not accept E-Invoice and you need a paper invoice,which is required . The company, which Viator WEB site refers you where to go for a printed copy, does not have an office at the address you are referred to. Thanks to the local tourist Office rep and the bus driver, who used common sense, allowed us to receive the pass after wasting over an hour.

This was a nice tour and I found it to be pretty useful. Although San Sebastián is not a huge city, a lot of the locations that are worth seeing are far away from the center. I sat on the bus for a panoramic view and learned about the city's history. Overall, it was worth the cheap asking price.
