With this admission ticket to the San Francisco Zoo, the way you spend your time is up to you. The zoo is open daily, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the grounds at your own pace.

There are more than 20 exhibits at the zoo with more than 1,000 animals to see, so you’ve got your work cut out for you. Start by stopping by the Koala Crossing Exhibit where five furry friends hang out, and point them out while they sit up high in the eucalyptus trees they like to eat off of.

Check out the meerkats and prairie dogs, and learn how two animals from two different continents can have so much in common. Don’t miss out on seeing Bear Country or Eagle Island, and the Insect Zoo is also a good place to visit if you’re into creepy-crawly creatures.

If you need some time away from all the animals, you can walk the gardens, hit the playground, or even hop on a train (own expense). Whatever you spend your time doing, you’ll walk away knowing much more about animals than you did before.

I was a very pleasant experience. Not very crowded, everyone wearing masks and very respectful of personal space while allowing everyone to get close enough to see the animals. It would’ve been nice if there were a few more places open to buy water or snack

I liked how I was able to get tickets 1 day before despite the zoo website was sold out the entire day. Also, liked we had no designated time we needed to show up. Flashed my confirmation and able to get right in.

The San Francisco Zoo is clean, well thought out and definitely worth the price of admission. Purchasing tickets through Viator did not allow us to enter the zoo without standing in a long line and handing my phone over to the window agent to snap and text the online reservation to her terminal. I would never use the Viator option again.
