Aurora Borealis Snowmobile Safari & Bbq

Well.. it should have been a nice experience if the tour guide gave us the winter clothes( overalls). Even though its included in the tour and we specifically asked for them, the blond guide( dont know his name) said " its a warm night so you dont need the overalls we provide. Well, it was extremely windy, -2 and the real feel was -12. I even mentioned but no its a nice night he said. So after that we took a 30 or 40km ride on the snowmobile in that wind and cold. Finally got to the frozen lake where they set up fire. Then i came to a point where i almost froze. So i told the guides and they had to cut the tour short to take us( everyone) back. Didn't see the lights. So it would have been a nice experience if we were given the warm clothes and were mentioned about the total of 80km ride.

Nice snowmobile tour. We haven’t seen the aurora but even then it was a nice tour. We started in the light and ended in the dark.

We had a nice trip, a little waiting around in the beginning however once we were off we sped through the countryside enjoying the beautiful scenery, nice young tour guides not a lot of interaction from them however that suited us , sadly we didn’t see the lights which couldn’t be helped, very bumpy mobile on the way out changed on the way back and had a smoother ride, children given plenty of fur and were happy. Got back around midnight but the office were happy to call us a taxi and let us wait in the warm.

I can not recommend this company enough, they replied within minutes picked us up from our Air b and b the guides were brilliant, really enjoyed!

All of our 3 guides were amazing and we had a great time on the snowmobiling tour. The 3 guides handled everyone very well and worked extremely hard to keep everyone happy. This would have been a 5 star rating…the only thing that could have been better would have been a smaller group. Viator’s site said 15 max but we had at least 25. It was not a problem on the snowmobile but in the little BBQ cabin it was jam packed. We took off a little later than expected due to some shuffling of sleighs to carry children (the company was expecting mostly adults and 3 kids but instead 3 kids turned into 9 adding some extra time as kids can’t drive a snowmobile on this tour…some lady presumably the owner apologized for the confusion stating she would be getting with Viator to see why some kids were showing as adults) but we were not rushed back and actually had a much longer tour which was ok with us. I just can’t say enough about our 3 young guides…they handled everything professionally and never lost their cool and made extra sure everyone was attended too. The logistics and keeping 25 adults and kids happy is a large task but these 3 guides made it absolutely memorable for us!!

Out guide was really nice and helpful, we saw some beautiful lights and ate delicious sausages in a traditional Finnish Hut over fire. Amazing night!

Our guide arrived at our hotel reception on time to pick us up. He was very kind and started off by asking us if we wanted to reschedule as it was snowing and there would be no chance of seeing the auroras. Unfortunately, it was our last night so we told him that we still wanted to do the snowmobiling. We went to the office to sign a waiver and present our driving licenses (don't forget these!). They provide warm/waterproof clothing and helmet. We started around 8PM and were done around 11PM. It was really beautiful, even at night with no auroras. Halfway through the tour, we were taken to a hut (seen in their picture) for a BBQ. Sausages and corn were offered, along with drinks. The guide was willing to offer any information about the auroras. Great tour company that is situated right in Santa Claus Village.

One of the best tours we have ever done. It is an adventurous snowmobile ride followed by the beautiful view of the Northern lights alternating with hot juice at a nice chalet in the middle of the iced landscape. We really loved it! Beautiful landscape for a Brazilian eye!
