We had such a great time , even though we didn’t get to see the northern lights
Igor was fantastic , the fire pit , hot berry juice , hot sausages , toasted marshmallows , gingerbread biscuits , and the photos taken of us and the information on the northern lights was fantastic
Would recommend , and would do this trip if we returned to Finland

We ordered this excursion very late however evetything worked well. The driver pick up us from the hotel exactly in time. The place for observation was very nice. First we got full explanation about the physic of the nothern ligth. Unfortunately we could not see Aurora at this evening,
nevertheless we had wonderful time outside of the city in the winter forest. We enjoyed hot berry-juice, sаusages, саmpfire, family fotoshooting which was included in the price.
Thank you Egor and his team for this unforgettable evening!

Had a great time learning about Finnish culture and other aspects or life in Finland. Additionally although the northern lights were not strong due to it being a cloudy night we saw nature at its best with a beautiful display in the sky. I would do this trip again.

I highly recommend booking this tour with Igor. I searched around on Viator and didn't find that many recent reviews for Aurora tours so took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did.
- Pickup was on-time at my hotel in a well heated Mercedes van
- There were only 2 other people on the tour
- The viewing location is on a lake where we got fantastic view of the Aurora
- Igor had a DSLR camera and was able to take fantastic photos. Tip - If you want to take your own pictures don't forget a tripod
- After we witnessed some strong Aurora activity Igor cooked us some delicious sausages and provided us some tea in a warming hut (laavu)

This was our first activity we did in Rovaniemi. Standing on a frozen river with a vast panoramic view, first time experiencing Aurora, capturing that beauty with us and having hot berry juice and sausages to keep us warm. Did we just live a fairytale? Yes we did. Thanks to Igor, Olex and the entire team to make us comfortable and taking care of our every need in that subzero hour.
We absolutely love the pictures Olex took. It is a memory of a lifetime.
Few important things to share:
1. We called Viator customer care to share our address at Rovaniemi
2. They arranged a pick and drop from our Stay (it was a bnb apartment)
3. They sent us the name of driver and phone number half an hour before the pickup time
4. Viator's service is excellent.

Our guide was Egor he was prompt and courteous. He took us to 2 spots to attempt to view the Northern lights. The first site was crowded with other tourist so he explained the phenomena of the Northern lights then we were off. The 2nd spot by the lake was nice a private. He cooked sausages and warm juice drink and told us stories. Because the chance of seeing the lights was low that day he kew to wrap things up and not keep us in the cold. If the lights would have appeared the 2nd spot would have been an amazing place to take photos in.
