We had a truly brilliant tour of the ancient sites. Sam was extremely knowledgable on the history of Rome and was more than willing to answer all questions fired at him from all angles. The children really enjoyed it as well and are now much richer in knowledge from the experience. Many thanks to Sam for an amazing tour!

Giorgio was absolutely terrific! He is extremely knowledgeable and has been giving tours since the 90’s, and it was clearly evident. Through this tour, entry into each of the Roman sites was a breeze! 100% recommend!

Partner and I booked this full tour for February 24th and it was fantastic. Simona was so informative and knew everything about how, why, and when the Colosseum was built, as well as the entire area and it's history and context. She's an archaeologist which really shows in her passionate delivery, and she's very comfortable touring with the group. Note that it was super busy in late February which was unexpected by all. Make sure you bring your own water & note that you won't get to stop in the Colosseum gift shop. The head sets are great and you can hear her even if you're in the back of the group. We had around 20 people and it was totally fine. She also provides time for pictures and you can ask her many questions. Thank you, Simona!!

This was a great tour to get the impression of the colloseum, palatine hill and the forum. Our guide really helped understand the building, the events and the eventual decline of the area. The palatine hill part was nice, maybe a bit too much time for pictures. The forum a bit skipped over, but we got to explore it a bit more ourselves.

Our tour guide, Simona Mariotti was incredibly knowledgeable and and accommodating to our group. She is an Archaeologist and tour guide part time. With her educational background and command of the English language she provided an interesting, funny and accurate account of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hills. I Highly recommend Simona Mariotti for a wonderful experience.

Me and my partners first time in Rome and this experience was hardly to fault. The location was okay to find via GoogleMaps and the wait time was not too bad (10 or so minutes). Our first tour guide (George) was "VERY" Italian, funny, incredibly knowledgeable and brilliant. The Colosseum is beautiful and George provided amble time to mooch around the first and second floors of the Colosseum. Only criticism is that the tour was not inclusive of viewing the arena. After the Colosseum, another tour guide (American) led us into the Palantine Hill and Roman Forum. Even more funny with witty comments and jokes, the next tour guide was also knowledgeable. This part of the tour was great, less "built-up" with tourists and more scenic. To make this experience 5 stars, a more inclusive tour of the Colosseum would add value. Would recommend this experience! (p.s. Do NOT do this in the summer months!)
