Rome private tour: skip the line tickets & private guide all included

We really enjoyed this tour. There was a lot to see on this tour and our driver, Livio and our tour guide Monica did an excellent job showing us around. We ate at a pizzeria and had gelato in Civitavecchia. We got lost at the Colosseum but Livio was able to find us. We appreciate their patience with us.

Such an amazing tour! We only had one full day in Rome. Our tour guide made sure we made the absolute most out of our time. Well worth the money. We would book Livio again!

Livio arrived punctually to pick us up and showed every professional courtesy. Showed us everything on the tour plus more. He managed to navigate down narrow cobbled laneways in a mercedes van to get us where we needed to be. He was more then willing to take us wherever we wanted to go and everything about this tour as well as the guide for vatican city was first class. Would highly recommend.

What a great day exploring and seeing the top spots in Rome. We had a limited time and this tour provided everything. Georgia was a large reason why it was so much fun. He was prompt, very knowledgeable and so nice. We were a group of eight and he fit in as part of our group! The vehicle was clean and comfortable for all of us. Take this tour if you want to see all of Rome! If Georgio is your guide you will be in great hands!!!

Thank you Viator for choosing Livio Torretta as our driver and guide.Even though there was a mix-up with the pick up time at Citta Vecchia, Livio waited for us to meet him.He was articulate, knowledgeable, entertaining and had a great sense of humor. When we were hungry, he made arrangements for us to eat at a friend's restaurant, even ordering for us as we were pressed for time. The food was amazing and I hope to find this restaurant again.I saved Livio's card and would look for him again when I need a guide.

We loved this tour. We were able to do a little customizing of it since we had a bus tour the previous day and didn't want to revisit some places. George was our driver and he was excellent. He made sure we got to visit and see what we really wanted. We learned alot, had some great laughs, and ended a very long trip with a very special day. Even though it was raining on this day, we were able to enjoy the sites. October / November was a great time to visit Italy.

Awesome private tour! The only way to see Rome! Livio our guide/driver felt like a longtime friend. He made us feel welcome and took the time to show us the best places. Laura, our Vatican guide was wonderful! I'm just sad we had to leave!!

We were connected to Livio who was extremely professional in every way. He was thoroughly organized throughout this experience. He sent us at least two different confirmations and communicated with us both through email and What's App. He met us at our designated pick up spot precisely at the time he had stated. We customized our tour a bit as our daughter had spent a semester in Rome and we wanted to visit some of her favorite places as well as the locations offered through this tour. Livio maneuvered us through the the busy streets of Rome and by the end of the day, we had seen the Colosseum, the Fountain of Trevi, the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona, the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel and even enjoyed an authentic lunch at a small restaurant he selected for us. The "skip the line tickets" are the real deal. We were traveling in late October which is presumably a less crowded time to tour Italy and our tickets allowed us to breeze ahead of tired and cranky tourists who were stuck in hot, slow moving lines. We never felt rushed or exhausted despite the fact that we were cramming a great deal of sightseeing into a short window of time. This private tour was 1/4 the price of the exact same tour offered by Norwegian. In chatting with others who had paid the cruise ship premium, I was delighted to realize we had saved a great deal of $$$ booking this private tour through Viator.

Our family of 4 could not have enjoyed our day with Pietro more. He was so knowledgeable and made the stories of these ancient buildings come alive. We would highly recommend Viator and Pietro for anyone looking to see the City of Rome come alive. Money well spent.
