Full Rhodes Island Shore Excursion Including Wine Tasting and Lunch

While the tour did offer some interesting sites in Rhodes, the organization of the tour leaves a bit to be desired. To begin with, the pickup was a bit confusing. Some of our group received confirmations and some did not. Our tour guide seemed to be a little irritated at our group. There is a lot of riding on a mini bus. The tour description is a bit misleading as well.

A great way to experience Rhoads. Our favorite stop was Lindos. Our guide introduced us to a Freddo Cappuccino. After that day we all had that special drink everywhere we went. Enjoyed the winery and tasting the wines made from the grapes grown on their property. Loved all the history shared by our guide. a fun day for all.

The tour seemed disorganized and some of the passengers were put on our tour and booked a different tour. The lunch was a joke, a big bun and one tiny slice of turkey and a banana.

3 stops picking up fellow travelers ? 40 min before we began our excursion. 16 in all traveling was too big a group 6 hour tour with 2 hours out of the bus. Lunch was 85 % bread on a big roll with thin slices of meat a banana, no napkins plus a bottle of water. wine tasting was sad.

This tour encompasses all parts of Rhodes which was a beautiful experience. We had the opportunity to hike, ride mules to the acropolis in Lindos, taste 18 different wines at a local winery. I would recommend wearing comfy workout clothes that you don’t mind sweating in or getting dirty as you do tour the seven springs which ended up being a tiny hike/nature walk. I would also recommend bringing snacks because it is a long day in the car as well as a light lunch.

Our Rhodes dream was made possible by Dimitra and her company. Dimitra is the kind of travel organizer that exists only in imagination, but she is for real! Once I connected with her about mid-March it was a pleasure to read the return messages Dimitra sent to all my questions. When April 22d arrived we met Angeliki, our guide and Vasilis our driver - both the best in their profession. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we have removed one more thing from our family bucket list, though we hope to visit Rhodes again. We recommend this team without any hesitation!

After taking a couple ship tours, we decided we'd likely never again want to be herded around in a large group, often not being able to hear the guide, not being given enough time to look or shop - because someone in the group has been lagging behind, visiting just the same tourist areas that everyone else goes to, and often, being taken to places of business that the cruise ship has 'arrangements' with. Over the years we have worked with many private operators with scores of travelers. Last October we decided to explore Rhodes, Greece with Telia Tours. This was definitely five star service and I'd have no hesitation to book with them again. Our guide Dimitra was a delightful person, she was willing to adjust and schedule things to our wishes, easy to talk with and understand. She was very knowledgeable and kept things moving along smoothly. She was the one that really made the trip so special. The driver Alexis was equally good at his responsibility of maneuvering throughout the island in the best and quickest routes. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable and the driver stayed in it when we were touring so there was never a worry about the safety of things left on the bus. The meals arranged for us were really enjoyable, wine tasting with Sula was outstanding, Embonas wines exceeded our expectations. All the smallest details of our tour were all well taken care of. This is not a paid for recommendation, nothing was discounted or given back for a good review, but it was the very best, bar none, of all the tours we've ever been a part of. Each of the others on the tour (total of 10) without exception expressed the same opinion and all are very well traveled people. Should you be looking for a tour company in Rhodes, you will not be in any way disappointed with this company - by far and away, the very best.
