Our day was wonderful on the Jeep tour! We had Uncle Tiny as our guide and we couldn’t have been happier! He was a funny guy with great stories, knowledgable about every nation’s connection to Cyprus and made us all feel welcome! The trip was great, we enjoyed the off-road as well, Tiny is a great driver and makes everything fun!

Jag och min fru hade en fantastisk dag och jag rekommenderar denna aktivitet till alla som vill göra någonting annat än att bara sola och bada under resan. Vi skulle vara borta 8 timmar, men vi var hemma först efter 10 timmar och det berodde på att vi alltid fick gott om tid vid alla stopp och vi stannade även då och då efter vägen för att få smaka på färska fikon, vindruvor och liknande som växte längs vägkanten. Vi stannade på fler ställen än i beskrivningen, bland annat vid ytterligare ett vattenfall. Det visade att fokuset hela tiden låg på att vi skulle få bästa möjliga upplevelse och det har jag inte riktigt upplevt under våra andra utflykter på Cypern. Andra utflykter har känts stressade och har ofta varit kortare än utlovat.
Turen går upp i bergen på smala grusvägar med branta stup precis bredvid och personligen tyckte jag just de delarna av dagen var roligast.
Lunch serverades på restaurang Skylight i Platres. Gruppen på 10 personer satt tillsammans vid ett stort bord och vi serverades meze och vin. Mycket bra mat för att serveras under en tur.
Jag måste även avsluta med att nämna guiden Luca, vilken stjärna. Han var genuint engagerad och såg till att alla skulle få bästa möjliga upplevelse. Han hade hela tiden historier om platser vi åkte förbi och stannade oplanerat flera gånger när han exempelvis sett
en växt som han ville visa upp. Han blandade samtidigt in en hel del humor under hela dagen. Som en bonus fick ett par gäster bli spådda av honom efter att han serverar cypriotiskt kaffe. Hur bra som helst!
