The whole trip from start to finish was fantastic - Daniel was amazing and explained the history behind all the bridges, the drinks were flowing and the sun was shining. I would highly recommend this company and we’ll worth the money!

Thanks Captain Daniel for a fun little trip under the bridges of Porto. Great way to spend the evening while visiting Porto and the view of the city from the water is spectacular. Absolutely recommend spending the time with Daniel sitting on comfy bean bags, sipping refreshments and in good company.

This boat tour was the highlight of my trip to Porto. I had booked this private tour for 3 people and we were very lucky to be upgraded to a better boat boat due to prevent rain falling on us. The scenic views of Porto and Gaia were incredible and gave another perspective of the city views. Many thanks to Paulo and António whos hospitality made us feel very welcomed. They even recommended an authentic restaurant to eat at which is usually fully booked and does not take any reservations. Kindly, they called up the restaurant and booked a table for us. Indeed, they are a man of their words as the fish was delicious! Thank you both again for an amazing experience. If coming to Porto, I highly recommend booking your boat trip with Douroboatman.

Outstanding way to spend the morning!

We had a great, relaxing morning touring the Douro river in our private motorboat. The boat has bean bags for chairs, but we spent most of the time sitting on the front and sides of the boat. It was a great chance to speak with a local about life in Portugal and daily living in Porto. Great fish restaurant recommendation for dinner that night as well. Definitely a "must do" when in Porto!

Me and my friends were visiting Porto for my bachelorette party and wanted to have a relaxing day on the boat. Upon arrival to the Marina, Antonio, our captain, was already waiting for us. We had the most amazing time! Antonio told us a lot about the history of Porto and pointed out the sights we should visit. We had delicious port wine - red and vino verde. The weather was beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. Antonio was very patient with us and took lots of pictures and pointed out picture opportunities as well. After the tour, he sent us a big list of places to visit in Porto, which we loved! I highly recommend this experience! Thanks for everything!

Small boat experience with just 4 of us and our guide Daniel. We sat on bean bag cushions which were excellent as they moved with the boat! Daniel was very informative and we were offered excellent home produced port wine included in the trip. Would highly recommend this 2 hour tour rather than a shorter trip on a crowded bigger boat. However be aware that the boat leaves from the marina not Cais de Ribeira quay.

Daniel was the tour guide for our two-hour sunset cruise. He sent information ahead of time giving specific details about the cruise and he arrived promptly. Daniel was very polite and friendly. He provided interesting information throughout the tour and was very entertaining as well. It was too cloudy to enjoy the sunset, but Daniel was so entertaining we hardly missed it!!
