Take this tour, you won’t regret it
, May 2021
I can not recommend this tour enough!! We had Abraham and he was wonderful. Private hotel pickup, nice car ride with AC, and we got there early before all the tour buses. He taught us soooo much about the Mayan culture. He had a binder with photographs and diagrams that helped explain things even better. We learned so so much about the Mayans and astronomy. By the time we left, all the tour buses/crowds were arriving. They also took really nice photographs on our iPhone, so no extra $ for a photo package which was great. Beautiful photos with minimal people/crowds in them. Then we had a nice lunch and swam in. A beautiful cenote - bring your own towels. Overall it was worth every penny!! I am SO glad we didn’t do the tour bus experience!!!
Kitzen Itza day tour

Armando was very knowledgeable with the history and archeology of the historical areas in Chitzen Itza. The time at the cenote was short, but perfect. Clear water and even a rope swing to launch into the cenote on.

Great private trip for a young family!
, Jan 2021
Johnny, our tour guide and driver, was professional, friendly, and excellent. He was ready for us in the morning, although we were running late. He had the car stocked with cold water and even had life jackets for the cenote swim for my kids (aged 5 and 3). While at the ruins, he took the time to explain the history and took lots of pictures of our family. He guided us through the vendor stalls also. Overall excellent trip. He went at our pace, spending more time where we wanted to be and less time where we didn’t. It was wonderful and I highly recommend this group.
Satisfied and safe experience. Highly recommend

Armando our guide was professional, knowledgeable and worked to make sure we were very satisfied with our service. The highlight was how he was able to engage the teenagers in our group he came to their level. He was also accommodating to changes to our schedule . We felt safe - they provided hand sanitizers, and we all wore masks.
Chitchen Itza Private Tour Review
, Jan 2021
Our guide was new otherwise I think this would have been a good company. Unfortunately, our guide didn't tell us anything about Chitchen Itza other than that "we know nothing about it". He mocked the other guides for telling theories about the site and he used his phone while driving. Additionally, he spoke about very inappropriate topics such as party with his friends and also rushed us to not shop in the city. We only spent 30 minutes there. I recommend requesting a specific guide with good reviews already especially if you have children on this tour.
Fantastic and memorable

Jonathan was very knowledgeable and personable. We had an amazing adventure. The authentic lunch was fantastic too. On a side note, taking the toll road saved drive time and added to a great, memorable day!
Experience to remember

Fabiaon was a great guide, appreciated his iPad with additional information and pictures greatly. With new information of the area and discoveries made it visit more exciting. The Cenote, breathtaking and took some fabulous photos. Luncheon at the Hacienda and experience in its self. So many delicious options for dining, exceptional and walking the Hacienda and grounds beautiful. We were tried and opted not to tour the city at the end of the day.
As above.

Our driver was extraordinarily helpful and very informative.I would recommend this outfit and the driver again.
Superb Day
, Jan 2020
We had a great day. Carlos was a superb guide and host (and driver). He arrived just as we arrived in lobby of our hotel. Journey was as quick as possible and his tour around Chichen Itza was excellent. He encouraged us to ask questions and explained what we wanted to know. Lunch was excellent quality food. Cenote a new experience and Carlos had life vests ready for us. It was something we thought we would never do. Vallodoid was interesting stop. Overall a superb day and well worth the cost.
Amazing day, pleasant trip, great guide
, Jan 2020
Jonathan (Johnny) was our guide for the day. He picked us up promptly at the hotel in a clean, newer van. He greeted us, introduced himself and gave us a run down of the tour. He was very pleasant and tried his best to keep us comfortable. He even stopped half way for a restroom break without us telling him. My husband suffers motion sickness and Johnny allowed him to sit on the front. However, it was unnecessary because the toll highway is in excellent condition, is mostly straight, and Johnny drove us safely. Another advantage was getting there earlier than bigger groups. Once we arrived to Chichen Itza, we entered really quickly via Mayaland. Johnny showed us several interesting spots, took photos for us, answered all of our questions and gave us time to look around. Also, he kept looking for shade for us or a place to sit while he explained what we were looking at. He recommended us some vendors and helped us negotiate the price and tell us if that was a fair price or not. In the van, he carried a little cooler with water which it was great. The only thing I would skip would be the sacred cenote in Chichen Itza. Unfortunately, it is very polluted, looking dark gray at the moment and you will see a much nicer one later one. Also, there are a lot of mosquitos in that area. For lunch, we had a buffet in Mayaland. It was pretty clean and quick service with the drinks. The ladies were making hand made tortillas, there were several pork dishes, pizza, fish, salad and traditional desserts. They also had some dancers as well. After lunch, Johnny took us to el Cenote San Lorenzo Oxman. It seems that the cenote is getting more popular, but people come and go so we were not crowded swimming. They have lockers, restrooms, a small pool, showers before getting in and life vests. The most fun part was jumping from the cliff or using the swing rope to get into the water. The last stop was quick in Valladolid, we preferred to stay longer in Chichen Itza and swim a bit more at the Cenote, so we stopped 30 min to walk around the square, see the church quickly and then head back. You really don't need a lot of time there and if needed can skip. It is just a typical colonial city.
