Misleading Trip

This trip is marketed as a sailing trip to Isla Mujeres. It shows the catamaran with sails up. This was no at all a sail. The sails were never up. It is a catamaran trip by motor to Isla Mujeres with loud rap and hip hop music coming through the speakers. The lunch was enjoyable, but once on island, you needed to strongly resist persistent sales people trying to get you to purchase jewelry and tequila. If you see the photo of sailing catamaran, just know that the trip is much different than it appears. It is more like a wild spring break party than a sail to the island.

From the moment we got on the boat until we finished it was fun throughout. The only criticism is that we only had one hour at Isla Mujeres and the whole point of the trip was to go there for a bit longer. Other than that the staff on the boat were great, friendly, professional, accommodating and fun. When we first arrived at the dock the staff there struggled with my booking (which was downloaded on my phone) and it clearly stated they accept phone downloads. They then tried to charge for rhe cost of transport even though this was clearly stated on my ticket and I had to explain this to them several time.
