Amazing tour

I spent a lot of time looking for this particular tour and it didn't disappoint. Tour guide was knowledgeable and super friendly. It was an amazing experience and was a highlight of my trip. I would totally recommend this tour. I traveled alone and felt completely safe.
Long drive

Long ride. The driver was almost falling asleep on the way back. Was told there was continental breakfast. No bottled water. For that long of a journey there should be bottled water

Hi Elain, Thank you for choosing us to be part of your vacations. Due to health and safety restrictions (COVID-19) it was forbidden to have food and drinks on board. We apologize for the inconvenience. The long of the journey was announced. We where more than happy to have you onboard and we hope that Ek Balam was outstanding. They are one of the mayan site more preserved in the area. See you soon in Cancun,

We really enjoyed this tour. Mark Anthony of Mexico Great Service was very informative. The cenote swim was refreshing after the tour of the ruins. Our only problem was the pickup. We were picked up on time but rode around about an hour before we were brought back to a spot in front of our hotel and was told our bus would be there in about 30 minutes. The transfers need work. No fault of our tour guide.

We were never picked up from our confirmed hotel pickup location!!!!! Mexico Great Service was the local tour provider Viator contracted our tour with. I should have know there was going to be a problem when I never received an email from Mexico Great Service. I had to contact Viator twice for their contact information. The phone number given wasn't a working number. I finally contacted Frederic Deheyer, tour operator with Mexico Great Service, via email to confirm the details of our trip. His English in his emails wasn't the best so communication was a little confusing. We got up before 5 am, paid for a ferry transfer from Isla Mujeres and taxi to hotel. We waited for over an show!!!!! The hotel staff was rude and not helpful at all. After calling Viator and emailing Mexico Great Service several times, they said sorry... we mistakenly booked you on the wrong day!!! I would have thought Viator would have vetted their local tour companies a little better. Never again will I use VIator for booking an excursion!

We thought this tour to be one of the best we have taken. It was a small group and therefore more personal. I loved the ruins. Not as many people as Chichanitza. The lunch was to die for. Huge selection of authentic Mexican items. Very fresh produce. Clean, exceptional facilities. The Cenote was very nice. I would recommend this tour in a heart beat.
