Howard is so very knowledgeable about Philadelphia. He transformed the tour from a simple here’s The Italian Market/have a cheese steak into a living history of the history of migration in and around Philadelphia. Each ethnic group’s history was exemplified with a personal story from their past and present; ultimately each story culminates with a taste of the person’s culinary product or artwork.
