This historic tour begins at the Philly Tour Hub, a self-proclaimed launching pad for all the great Philadelphia travel experiences. Just outside, visit the Betsy Ross House, where the first American flag was sewn.
Walk through the Old City district of Philadelphia, where William Penn and the Quakers first settled. It’s also home to Elfreth’s Alley, America's oldest continuously inhabited residential street. Itinerary
From here, weave through the charming back alleys of Old City and walk down Elfreth's Alley, one of the country’s oldest continuously occupied residential streets. In this vibrant neighborhood, you’ll pass trendy cafes, shops, art galleries and buildings featuring industrial architecture.

When you reach Christ Church, where the Founding Fathers once worshiped, head inside (if it is open and available) to learn about the birth of the Episcopal Church in America.
