A beautiful stroll through American history
Vanessa
, Nov 2020
A friend and I went on this tour the morning of my birthday and really enjoyed it! We learned a ton about the history of Philly's Old City and its contributions to the foundations of this country as it exists today. Our tour guide Rick was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and very receptive to the many questions we had along the way. Being a small group, the experience felt very personalized and put us all at ease. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in early American History, the Founding Fathers, and how Philadelphia came to be the city that we know it as, or anyone looking for a beautiful, "narrated" historic walk through Old City.

Nina was an excellent tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and not only showed us some of the historical sites, but a few hidden gems too! The tour gives you an overall flavor of the historical sites and buildings and then you can decide which you want to go back to later on your own to go inside for tours.

A Great Experience

We had a wonderful experience with Lori. She not only has a wealth of knowledge but she connected our American history to the religious, economic, philosophical and cultural evolution from Europe to their impact in the colonies. She has a great personality and loves her job. Really glad we decided to take the tour and will tell others.

Fantastic Tour by a Delightful Guide.

We arranged this tour spur of the moment for my birthday; it was a beautiful day and we wanted to make the most of it. The tour was just perfect. Nina was a fantastic guide, we really liked that she was a "Philly Girl" and could give us information based on her experience. I have lived in the suburbs all my life and saw things on the tour I had no idea existed. I am looking forward to another tour with Nina, hopefully the tasting to the Italian Market. This was a wonderful way to welcome a new year of life. Thank you Nina for your insight, charm and knowledge. We really appreciated it. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Rick was an excellent tour guide that provided us some stories and details of our Founding Fathers and Philadelphia that made a 2 hour tour very enjoyable for myself and my 18 year old son. We both highly recommend this tour and Rick as a guide. Worth the price and a highlight of Philadelphia.

Our guide (Alex) was very knowledgeable. We understand the tour is only 2 hours and there is a lot to cover; but at times it felt rushed. Otherwise a pleasant and culturally enriching experience.
