A beautiful building filled with a huge collection of fine art. The tour guide was especially helpful in making sense of the different styles a schools the different masters represented. This was a fully loaded educational session for my children and me.

A Must See!!!

Erell was our tour guide. She sent a text message the day before the tour confirming it and where, exactly, we would meet. That is great because the area is large and it was our first time in Paris. The museum is amazing, the art is phenomenal, and the tour was perfect. Erell was very knowledgeable about the artwork and history of the museum. Time flew by and we were actually a bit over on the time. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the museum. So much more information than just the ear phone tour.

Veronique was very knowledgeable and taught us more in 2 hours than some college courses. I wish I had booked her for the Louvre tour.

Turned out this was a private guide for the four of us. She was very knowledgeable in the arts and told us many things that the average person would never see.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR
arjunasa
, Jul 2019
After having spent over $200 booking this tour, we arrived 25 mins before the tour was supposed to start - at 9.30 am - and the guide never turned up. There was no number to contact and after waiting for another 25 mins we decided to visit the museum ourselves. To be honest, if you want to visit the Musuem you should just go it alone and rent an audio guide. This tour was such a scam and I have lodged a complaint with Viator for a full refund.

Julien was exceptional!

Julien was awesome. He made it educational for the teens and provided a lot of insights that added to our existing knowledge of art. If we had an extra day in Paris we would spend it with Julien.

Learned a lot -- conversational and entertaining
billdollco
, Jul 2019
We each came in with at least a base in Impressionism, but we all learned a lot more -- about the artist, the era, the role of the industrial revolution, the connections between artists and their subjects. That woman is named at the picnic with the two guys for a reason, and now we know. Marie was conversational, beer pedantic and pleasant to spend a tour with.
